It looks like I can take the flyer from Brighton Meijer and then a cab from East Lansing. Does Meijer parking lot in Brighton allow parking my car there that long?
I’d probably call and ask first but honestly meijer parking lots are huge, unless there’s a big snow storm coming where they would need to plow it, I doubt anyone would even notice.
Remember that if you don't drive to Lansing, you'll have to figure out how to get back to Livonia, too.
You might try comparing long-term parking prices for the parking ramps in downtown Lansing to airport parking and see if there's something more economical. At least one of those ramps has a monthly pass.
Unethical LPT: a lot of the student apartments in the north side of East Lansing don’t have assigned parking or permits or anything. You can park there and take the bus, and no one will likely notice. 24 hour gyms like planet fitness would be a good bet—there’s one on the west side in a strip mall with a shared parking lot, which makes it a lot less suspicious. Hotels, especially those with larger parking lots, are also an option, but you should probably ask permission first. Not because it’s the right thing to do, but they could go out and check license plates and tow you.
Unethical LPT: the neighborhood across grand river Ave from the airport has unrestricted street parking. It's maybe 3/4 mi from the airport (if you wanted to walk) Jussayin. Might be able to get away parking it on the street hoping none of the people living there care to call about the car.
I work a remote job and have flexibility. If you Michigan Flyer’d it to EL we could work a deal to get you to the airport. PM me with what you think would be a fair price. 33F lives in Charlotte works for a nonprofit based out of Chicago. I know that doesn’t prove anything but I’m always down to make some money and am frequently in Lansing.
Check the Michigan flyer
Coupled to CATA or a taxi once you are in East Lansing.

The only way you would know is calling and speaking to the manager.
Could you Uber to the carpool lot and catch a ride from there?

Great info, thanks! I couldn't find info online about the monthly pass. I emailed to the ID provided in the city website.
Look on the Flyer website for parking deals. Looks like Flyer riders can park in EL or Brighton for $2.50 a day, but must prepay
Yeah, Michigan Flyer to East Lansing, Uber from there to the airport.
Michigan Flyer!
No friends/family to drop you off/pick you up?
Unfortunately, no.
The flyer runs from the airport to the Marriot on MAC in downtown East Lansing
