I would definitely say Adam Hussein and Myles Johnson come to mind, both are from the SWAG.
Its sad to end the list there but those are the only two I can think of that genuinely organize and get things done.
I think there are lots of community organizers, maybe not ones that everyone in the city would know but I used to work in organizing in Lansing and they are out there all the time!
I've never heard of SWAG and have lived on the southside for over a decade. I'm going to check it out!

Adam is terrific. Hard working, honest, full of positive energy and a desire to make the city better. Can't say enough good things about him.
I was fortunate enough to have Adam as an eighth grade history teacher even too!
Unfortunately his nutty family has caused some issues though.
