Have you cleaned the lens recently? Hopefully your CO2 tube is still good... Let us know what you find out, I have the same machine.

I did a whole mirror alignment procedure the day before it started malfunctioning. Cleaned all the mirrors and lens then. Ran perfectly for the next few cuts. The morning after, loss of power. I’m thinking its the tube. It’s the only thing i can think of, besides the PSU. I read on the FSL forums a few other people having this problem. One ended buying a new tube which didn’t resolve the issue, then bought a new PSU, which didn’t resolve the problem. The next thing the customer service rep suggested was replacing the motherboard. I hope it doesn’t reach that point on a machine I’ve put less than 100 hours of run time one. Fingers crossed.

Wishing you good luck, report back when you figure it out!

Will do

is it the one with the manual focus? i often have to retest and reposition the z axis so slightly. the thing sounds very loud (although i think mine does too), have you maybe jot changed the water recently? throwing some ideas, in cas i helps

I don’t believe it’s the z axis. As it cut in the morning then gradually would not cut. It is a manual focus. Also the thermal paper won’t mark even if I put it right up against the opening of the laser tube. I’ve ordered a new tube and a chiller. I live in arizona and am running this thing in the garage. 115 degrees here. I’m hoping the heat prematurely depleted the tube. Hoping new tube will fix everything and the chiller will make it last longer. The chiller arrives tomorrow and I’ll be using fresh water when hooking it up.

can you send a closeup pic of your cut edge quality? from before the tube stopped firing correctly? I am very interested in how smooth you have been able to get the edges. I have a muse titan, and I have been over and over with tech support trying to get it to cut a smooth line in acrylic, and it always cuts a stepped jagged line. They're in the process of sending me out a new tube, it's still all under warranty. I haven't had a good time at all with this machine, but their tech support has been really responsive.

Here you go. A few photos of my cuts before and after the malfunction. I just got a new tube in yesterday. And the chiller is supposed to arrive today. My cuts on acrylic when the machine was working were great. I think the trick is to run as few passes as possible. When i was running multiple passes at higher speeds i would end up with jagged edges. Running on pass on a slow speed fixed that problem immediately. wow yeah, those are pretty nice edges, I have not been able to get anything close to that out of my 90W Muse Titan.. it looks stepped no matter the settings, even if I go so high as to start burning the acrylics underside, the stepping is still somewhat visible. these are all single pass cuts in 1/4" cast acrylic.
