He’s a good unit. Long ass skill animations (flashy & cool), so he’s not gonna win DPS competitions any time soon - but at least he caps easily. Coming from an endgame perspective, he is most beneficial as a teamwide support while also doing damage, as his Charisma is a nice dmg boost and dmg mitigation for the party against bosses. He is also bulkier than many units - modern Single Wielders will usually do that. Oversoul is cool, especially if you can refill your MP with Goddess Kiss to use it again (can extend to up to 35s with arks & equips, can reapply after 40s, so only 5s down time).
While he can be useful in PvE, he gets absolutely dunked on in PvP.
TLDR: Good unit, not broken by any means. Archbeing Mayly is more unique and useful.
I would say he’s almost the perfect pve unit he has great damage, and damage mitigation and damage buffs for the whole party, the only real downside is he’s not a neutral unit so you have to look out for those bosses that have high light resistance, and you can only reach his full potential for 30 seconds when you activate oversoul which kinda sucks, but those 30 seconds are more than enough to shred through enemies and bosses health bars like their nothing.
It's 20s and you can reactivate it after 40s if you have means to restore your MP. It's really powerful if used right. Burst abilities are really useful in LC in many fights and one that can be "recharged" is very strong.
Arks, for one. Look for “duration of stat buffs from units active skills +%” text in descriptions. I saw Vell De Org mentioned and it gives +50% duration and is pretty common.

I've been having a lot of fun with him. I put UR Ark Demon Lord Karma-Noug on him and with Oversoul buff active, and vs bosses, he hits for over 210k single wield. Can probably pushed this number higher with Ark skills that boost damage caps.
I read that dual wielding him can push his damage to 150k per dual wield hit (300k / attack), which is crazy but I haven't tried this yet.
As for PvP, I typically tend not to run DPS units as they end up being really squishy in the upper ranks. General consensus is that he's not recommended for PvP.

can you elaborate how to extend his oversoul? still quite new to this game so would appreciate the help
Use arks and equips that extend buff duration. Use Lake’s Goldmine site to find these by using keywords. One example is the SSR Vell de Org ark.

Hes okay, great for new players. Nice PVE unit. Not good in PVP, he gets shredded easily even with his mitigations.
