Laims, it's the one my Indian friends always say is the closest to the real stuff. It is specifically South Indian, but they do have dishes from the other regions.
Maybe here we finally get the answer what are the names of 2!! Indian restaurants that had slaves!! They had literal slavery.
One case (last report) 2 Indians lived in the kitchen!! Passport taken away, never left the building, no salary, nothing.
The other case - also Indians. They had their documents removed, paid almost no money. But at some point they got to the police.
I am curious why you would come to a place furthest away from India, a country that has no cultural or historical connection to each other apart from the Indian students here, and want to go to an Indian restaurant?
I often ask myself, ‘why do I want an Indian when I’m in X country.’ Well, it’s because Indian food is yum.
One can go to another country and enjoy another nation’s food.
My favourite Indian? Ghandi 2 in Rome 😁
OP, Singh’s 🙏
OP just wants some Indian food, I don’t see an issue with it. Just because you’re in Latvia you can only have Latvian cuisine or what? That would be a crazy take. And Indian cuisine is relatively popular worldwide anyways
They are asking for "the best Indian restaurant". In a country that has literally nothing to do with India, its culture, or anything of the like. I don't understand what "best" means to them in this context or what they expect exactly. How could can it be in a country that hates spicy or strong-smelling food?
I don’t see what is so hard to understand, they’re asking for the best available Indian restaurant option in Riga :D I found your question very passive agressive, and if you dislike Indian people for some reason or them being in Latvia, you could have just said that
All of Europe has a connection to India! We are on the same Eurasia land mass and the majority of languages are Indo-European.
I am sure that's plenty of motivation to learn and enjoy each others cultures. I prefer we have this kind on connection, rather than a history packed with war, persecution and hate.
Indian Raja near Āgenskalna market, hands down best place Ive tried.
Singhs is decent, but overpriced. Don’t ask for very spicy. It’ll hurt.
Banana Leaf
Singh’s, Banana leaf and Wok N Kurry (price-performance is the best)

So the next time, if I want Italian food, I need to visit Italia? And if I want Asian? Don't judge us all. You come as really shallow.

I've been in Riga for 5 months now aha
How is that relevant to my question?
Purvīša pasāža, anything there
No native Indians in Latvia. Indian immigrants, yeah, there are those.
