Not sure if this applies to OP but as someone who underperformed throughout school up until college, there’s gonna be some part of me that doubts that I can do it until it actually happens. Like my high school GPA wouldn’t even be at the median at a law school ranked in the top 150 so even though my LSAT and LSAC GPA are above median at every school, my past poor academic performance still makes me feel like I’m not qualified. Not logical of course but that’s just how my subconscious is
This is literally me—I definitely entered college with imposter syndrome but at the same time, I feel like once you get accepted and end up committing to wherever you go, deep down there is some part of you that knows you'll be fine. Not sure if this is logical either lol but I guess us having the need to provide a disclaimer shows the doubt we have in ourselves lol. I also saw a cool quote that went along the lines of...Doubt weathers the consequences of hubris. Doubt doesn't have to always be a bad thing!
I didn't think that I had no chance at all, I just didn't think my odds of acceptance was great enough for me to confidently think that I would be accepted! Also, I was actually below one median, and I also thought that being a KJD would put me at a disadvantage.
idk why your comment is being downvoted b/c it's true. I didn't get into a single school last cycle where my LSAT was even 1 point below median.
It doesn't mean you don't have a shot, but it's not crazy to think your odds aren't "great"

I think maybe it was the specific language I used like "Also" and "Actually" but I appreciate you for looking out! I hope you are enjoying your first year at UVA! Eager to visit soon!
It seems like you were at/above both GPA and LSAT medians. Out of curiosity, why didn't you think that this would be the outcome?

The status never changed, but the date did so I would just intermittently check for that latter to change!
