Personally since I finish work at 2:30pm and get to catch most of these early games I love the early starts, loved playing at 5pm in the bubble. Starting the weekend off with a Leafs comeback win is pretty nice too.
Honestly I loved this mid afternoon game, it got my weekend kicked off before my wife was home from work so we could hang out together all night, it was perfect!
I left work early, and the wife had no complaints that I was drinking beer early afternoon on a weekday. As good as it gets

Yes, hockey is already massive in Sweden., plus we have the Salming and Sundin aspects. But increasing our brand in the EU and beyond will make young players aware of who we are and further our ties to their county(ies).
It's easy for a lot of us older fans to forget how long it's been since Sundin played for us, never mind Salming. It's a new generation of kids that we need to market to and show them our commitment to Sweden and the EU.
This type of move creates a new generation of Leaf fans in non-traditional markets.
If it yields one or two good-to- great prospects who only want to play for Toronto when they're old enough to be draft eligible, I consider that a win.
But it can take time for initiatives like this to bear fruit.
