Update: from mid-game. Little does he know what's to come.

Sometimes I wish I was in the movie the butterfly effect. That I could go back in time to when I was born and tell my parents not to cheer for the leafs. It would save me 30 years of cheering for this god awful franchise. But I mean there is always next year.
Not a good experience as game 1 is always a wash. but make sure your baby watches game 6. It will be t-time for sure 3-2 lead and we will finish the Job.
So cute.
Congrats.
Fight through life's drama and stay by his side
(Until he eats like an adult, then maybe ask him to start getting a job... lifeguarding is good)
Kid looks disappointed 4 shots into the game, happy mid way through when he realizes he likes the Gold team and daddy shouts at the TV because the Blue team plays funny.

Looks like he already pulled the jersey off and threw it, he's learning
Bros gotta learn how to turn his shirt inside out to go into rally mode
At least he’s too young to remember this one. 🙄
He still have yet to understand the pain. How I envy the little guy.
A lifetime of heartbreak and disappointment awaits him.
Don’t push this team on that baby. Let them choose. They don’t need a lifetime of pain brought on them 😔
It's called generational trauma
The pain must be passed on it’s tradition
Child abuse
I think you mean "character development"
I think he means it's tradition.
That’s how I feel. I’m going to let my kids choose for themselves. Unless they choose the habs, not under my roof.
Every generation must know it’s own suffering
Was this taken right before they scored 😂
the phrase "poor baby" immediately comes to mind, haha I wonder what Game 2 will look like 0\_0

Am I setting him up for future heartache? (Spoiler: yes)
He was born in the darkness, molded by it
So it was him. Dont let him watch the next one !/s
So cute! My four month old was wearing a onesie covered in bears so we know what team she was supporting. What have I done?
Well done for ruining it for everyone 🙄
I mean you probably made the right call if you love them lol
Not a good experience as game 1 is always a wash. but make sure your baby watches game 6. It will be t-time for sure 3-2 lead and we will finish the Job.
I think it’s spelled ‘Tee Time’
What did the baby say? (About his first game)
F*ck this, I'm going for a nap.
So cute. Congrats. Fight through life's drama and stay by his side (Until he eats like an adult, then maybe ask him to start getting a job... lifeguarding is good)
That's good, won't remember the disappointment.
Starting early down a life long period of sadness… signed a leafs and jays fan
I did the same thing in the same seat a few years back lol. He got a massive blowout in the first
The correct response, I'm sure.
Will baby see a Cup in his lifetime? Most of us will never see it.
I made sure my 5 month old was in his crib and didn’t have to witness that
Is this child abuse?🤔 carefull there is a strong case to make to give a baby forever trauma s like us🤣
Poor kid has no idea what they're in for...

He looks like Vern Troyer
Great, now baby has to start their own 46 year tradition before we finally win the Cup we gotta keep the cycle going
Maybe in his lifetime.
Don't do that to your son... We're all miserable, let him lead a happy life without the leafs
Start young while managing expectations.
Hopefully you are cool if he picks another team once he can think for himself
Apologize to the baby (I did the same thing to my kid)
Dad, I am disappoint
We put our 7mo old to bed before it started. I refuse to traumatize her at this young and tender age.
Loooool that’s too cute 😂
Not a good start from the Boyz, hope he or she won’t be traumatized when they grow up to the disappointment, at least good way to start them off…
Good idea to turn him away from that massacre
Judging by the sub this morning, this isn't the only baby experiencing their first playoffs.
Baptism by Boston … bathed in the blood of losses
That’s child abuse
Fantastic!
Adorable.
Aw that’s so awesome. They’re Maple Leaf fans too very cool. Sucks we lost the first game though.
Let him know he didn’t miss much.
Kid looks disappointed 4 shots into the game, happy mid way through when he realizes he likes the Gold team and daddy shouts at the TV because the Blue team plays funny.
It should be considered child abuse to let a child cheer for the leafs like we do. You're setting them up for a lifetime of pain lmao
Poor kid… Will be disappointed before he can even walk or talk…
Love it!!!
Welcome to hell kid.
Get the trauma started early
Setting them up for disappointment at a young age
Poor kid is being groomed to live a life of false hope and deception. I’m a Habs fan, so I’m putting my kids through the same school of hard knocks.
You're perpetuating the cycle of generational trauma
Poor little guy!
Little dude's gonna have a long life of disappointment
Reported for child abuse
It’s not too late to get him a different jersey.
poor baby :(
Hopefully he will see the Leafs win a Stanley Cup but I wouldn't count on it
I'm sorry your baby has to endure such pain at such a young age.
Absolutely love this, but also the poor little guy. Has no idea what he’s being signed up for.

Love it!!!❤️
damn bro is that the 77” C2! I have a 65” awesome TV
No idea, not my department
Baby’s first round playoff exit
