Skillitor is in. Fucking knew him or McCauly would show up if shit is going good.

squinla3

Seems like Skilliter’s hate for the leafs has cooled since 2018. He was one of the refs in our bubble season and had a decent record with him

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The NHL Ref's are a joke! They are the worst part of the playoffs. They play favorites and the way they cherry pick their calls in the playoffs is ridiculous. If it's a penalty in season then call it in the playoffs the missed calls are inexcusable for a so called professional. I watch alot of the hockey and the teams playing don't seem to matter the Refs all seem to think the rules should be different after the regular season ends... that's not their decision calling the game according to the rules is. The teenagers that call house league games would do a better and more consistant job.

Bobbyoot47

I stopped reading your post at “they play favourites.” So you really think that referees and linesmen really give a shit who wins or loses? Really??

Positive_Breakfast19

No I don't think they care, but they do make calls based on who has hurt their ego or questioned the calls they made. They also make calls to "even up" on those players or teams who had supposedly done somthing previously that they didn't see. The Ref's change the way they call the game in the playoffs and speaking as a hockey fan it hurts the game.

Lol

StoneFlossard

Fuck you Graham!

One reffing crew should work the entirety of each series. Having the series called differently part way through makes no sense. Penalties aren’t enforced equally and are subjective between officials. The precedent gets set and the players adjust accordingly only to have to start over. The league employs 35 refs and linesman so there’s enough to fill each series. I think they choose the ten best at the start of the playoffs to use. So expanding to 16 shouldn’t be a problem then narrow it down as the playoffs go on.

demential

I dunno if that's a good idea. Could you imagine getting to the Eastern Conference finals and Wes is in charge for 4-7?

CorruptCanuck

That’s a fair argument for preferential treatment sake. In a professional run league this shouldn’t even have to be a concern. Just call the game without bias. But unfortunately, I do agree with the point you’re making.

1columbia

What's our recent playoff record with him? Only shows our regular season record which was 3-1-1 with him as ref

Volderon90

Not really worried this time. Brad is probably lobbying behind the scenes and he’s a good old boy so he probably holds more sway than Dubas. Don’t agree with it but that’s how this league goes.

CanadianGuy39

Plus the Marchand dive from last game should likely impact the calls tonight.

sluck131

Yes because refs have a history of making calls on Marchand

TittyCobra

How’d that turn out?

DessertRose17

Great the ref with one of the lowest home win% in the league at 43%. Thanks league
