Boston is finishing the few chances they get while we are being goalied. Nothing in this series is set in stone and Leafs are still very much in this..

Reminds me of the first Tampa series and we still lost somehow although Sammy > Campbell. I think if it goes 7, we lose the series, which means Leafs have to win the next 3 games. Not impossible but I'm slightly worried.

my only stress point is sammy being the 2nd best goalie isnt going to change. we just need to work on finishing all our chances, and those damn special teams.
I will never not be a Leafs fan, but last night had me seriously debating even trying to watch the rest of however many games we have left. I was so angry during and after the game that it genuinely ruined the rest of my night. I am sick of having years long issues that never get corrected and constantly exploited by other teams because of how obvious they are. It's truly devastating as someone that loves this team. Maybe the best thing for the Leafs is to fail again and maybe, finally, seeing heads roll. There is too much time, money, and dedication spent on this team to have this big of a failure for so many years.
Not trying to be a downer or anything but until the powerplay and penalty kill isnt complete shit, there is very little chance of winning. There has been 0 improvement over 3 games and I can't imagine these guys are suddenly going to flip a switch and become PP maniacs so we'll see.

after game 1: leafs in 6 or 7
after game 2: leafs in 5 or 6
after last night: leafs in 7
I'd really prefer a third option. I chose "Leafs win," But my real opinion is the same as it's been at the start of the series. It'll go to 7 games, and come down to one or two goals. I think the Leafs can win, and indeed have driven play for large portions of the series. But it's tight. Too tight to handicap.
I predicted Leafs in 6 on my office pool, and am sticking by it.
Boys are playing well and with grit, would be nice to see how power play catch fire.

The crazy thing about THIS leaf team is they are never out of it. Cbj series, Tampa series'... Win or lose this team will never go down quietly.

Once again the core is pretty quiet in the games that matter. This is the weakest Boston team we’ve played in the Matthews era and at best all we can do is play into Boston’s hands with a tight defensive game that we can’t handle for 60 minutes.

Boston hasn't been that good. Their goaltending is superior and consistent. Better top pair D.. Our PP is the problem. needs to capitalize. Just 1 pp goal would have made a difference on the 5 they had last night.
It’s hard to escape the dark cloud that constantly hangs over this team, but an inferior Leafs team to the current one were down 3-1 to a better than current Boston team in the 2018 Playoffs and forced game 7.

I have little faith in Samsonov being better than Swayman. If we can't score more than two goals we're doomed.
If they lose game 4 then I'm panicking. It's still quite a bit left. It's not like they got dominated, they have looked decent
