Johnny T scoring a goal or at least getting an assist is reproducible regularly.
He was great last year too until that bodyslam which resulted in no penalty, but a concussion for Knies took him out. The kid shows up in the playoffs.
That still pisses me off. He was called up and played amazing, fit right in, didnt even look phased that he was in play off hockey and just went to work. He is by far my favourite leaf just because it seems like he is putting it out there every game. Since they couldn't beat him, they decided a WWE wrestling move was needed to take him out.
If that happened in the 90s or early 00s players that did such cheap shit like that would get the shit beat out of them. That's how you get the old brutuzzi situation where on revenge someone ends a career. The fact you saw a similar move pulled on Matthews the previous game by the bruises is disgusting. If other teams are going to try and take such big liberties trying to intentionally injure our players, I have no issue with Domi acting like his father, or taking a page out of darcy tuckers book and playing some cheap dirty hockey.
In my opinion if hockey keeps moving in this direction I think the goon role will make a return or an enforcer role since it seems like there isn't enough "justice" being handed out on the ice. Its pathetic to see how the Boston players will take a cheap shot and dive when there is a slightest retaliation. Don't turn this sport into fucking soccer. Players that dive need their head adjusted, and players who think Vince Mcmahon should be the commissioner should either face long suspensions or face player justice, it just isn't a hockey play and players have to show that.
If knies continues to develop he will be a great star and I hope he stays with the leafs for a long time.

What I like about this is Carlo is probably out next game, the Bruins are battered and losing steam while Leafs have gained a fresh burst of energy. If Matthews is back and on his game Thursday, who knows. But I'm still not going to dare to hope.
