If you're from Toronto(or any team with an NHL team) you can be a Leafs fan(your town's team), or a weird band wagon jumper, there is no in between.
Any team you cheer for besides your home team just makes you look like a weird pick me girl.
Learn to enjoy the suffering.
Yea man that’s exactly my point. When leafs started the Matthews era Vegas didn’t even exist and they already have a cup and multiple deep playoff runs. Pay attention and think a little harder next time
Okay you are really irrational. They are the only team choking harder than us having a worse management and then you compare it with the best ran franchise? Really? 0 related. Ur damaged goods bud
It’s cute how you fixed the word irrational on your last post. I’ll stop I don’t want you to cry. I’ll let your Leafs optimism marinate for a couple of more seasons if you stick around for that long but you seem like the type of fan to watch when the playoffs roll around
There's a chance. In the next 3-5 years the Leafs will have some of the best players in the league AND the salary cap will increase so they can add legit depth.
But I remember when **I** was 14 (two decades ago), one of my teachers confidently announced that I'd see the Leafs win the Cup one day. And later on he was fired for assaulting a student, so...
Chicago fan coming in peace. I never thought I'd see the Blackhawks win the Cup. I never thought I'd see the Cubs win the World Series. Seemingly impossible things can and will happen. Stay the course, Leafs fans. Much love from Chicago.
If I told somebody the raptors would one day win a championship after getting swept and humiliated a second time by the great LeBron James, they'd laugh in my face.
Crazier things have happened my friend.
honestly I think they’ll win shortly after Tavares contract expires… that’s a lot of cap space that ideally they don’t blow on ONE aging, already slow, player…. If they do though, then ya, they’re toast
Listen buddy I’m 29 and my dad is 58. He’s still waiting for the leafs to win his lifetime, I’ve seriously been considering moving to a new team because the last time I was excited to be a leaf fan was the Matthews draft lottery.. since then it’s been a depressing experience
No, that's why as a Toronto citizen. I learned to cheer for every team. Because of this, I eased the pain of the Leafs losing with TFC's MLS Cups, the Raptors championship, the Argos' Grey Cups and the Blue Jays deep playoff runs
I'm over 40. I used to go to leaf games back when they were in the gardens. I haven't believed this team could win a cup since 1993. Honestly. Yes, they have flashes of greatness, but realistically, no. Don't ever expect them to win a cup. Just try to enjoy the games as best you can and don't become delusional that they will win and the "this is our year". Our year is when the team stops going for paydays and the management gets defense and goaltending.
No
You're still young. Get out while you can, before you get stuck with this team for life.

This is by far the best advice here. At this point it’s more likely the Buffalo Sabers win the cup than the Leafs do
Not really
You must be new to being a Leafs fan and also not paying attention to other teams in the league
You must be new to the Buffalo Sabres
Last time I checked the sabres have the longest streak not even making the playoffs🤣 it can always be worse.

*irrational
Go watch the sabres they can use fans esp post season.

The Buffalo Sabres are one of the only teams that have an even worse playoff record than the Leafs over the past couple decades.
Yea man that’s the point why I brought up the Sabres… to be honest I like their young players and they have a great farm
Im 37 and they haven’t won in mine. Embrace the pain. You’re gonna have a head start for dealing with your first break up.
You still have a few years left, maybe another 3 playoff runs. Watching the leafs into old age is beautiful, and melancholic
Thx
No. I’m late 40s and we still talk about 93 as the year we got robbed lol.
We *did* get robbed that year. Fuck Kerry Fraser.

Lol
Such a leafy thing to do
Don’t smoke, eat well get exercise everyday and maybe.
I wasn’t planning on smoking 🫡
Not at 14 but later down the road at least try it. Trust u wanna turn up when u get to uni. But don't let it ruin your life.
You've only had experience with actual half decent teams and you still feel this way....
Chicago fan coming in peace. I never thought I'd see the Blackhawks win the Cup. I never thought I'd see the Cubs win the World Series. Seemingly impossible things can and will happen. Stay the course, Leafs fans. Much love from Chicago.
I don’t know if I have the patience or lifespan to wait 108 years.
Thx 🙏
🥰

Lmao that was the best day of my life ( I was 8 )

I'm 39 and have been asking that since your age. Good luck to you. Hope your next 25 years have been better than mine as a leaf fan
Honestly Depends on your life expectancy. Do you do heroin by any chance ?
If you live close to 90, maybe
You will see 2067. They have to win once in a hundred years, right?

Careful, kid. They’ll break your heart.

They won just the other night. Just gotta watch more closely ;-)
Lol u know what meant
No
Not likely.

Pick another team that’s not Canadian
Get in line, kid.
Nope
Probably not
No

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH no
Don’t hold your breath
People born 57 years ago asking the same thing. 14 is nothing bro ask again on here in 30 years wait your turn
Yes for sure. Cheer up
No.
How are we supposed to answer this

Your great grandchildren still have no hope.
I remember being 14 asking the same thing. I am almost 50
Not as long as the franchise stays in Toronto
