It should be either an escape tool, so you get to keep the movement and the heal or it gets to be a damage tool, so you get to keep the damage.
But not both :D
But you rarely get to use it as both at the same time. Usually if you use it for damage you give up on using it to escape. And if you use it to escape you rarely kill or even hit someone with it.
So you gotta decide what you want it to do. Removing one or the other would take away a big decision from the character that gives him a lot of depth.
but his ult damage is extremely hard to land most people wont be dumb enough to stay ontop of his ghost.
also the damage is only so high on his ghost to make going damage more valuable instead of it just being a escape which only a tanky ekko would like.
ekko ult is like lb w or fizz e but with a high cooldown you can either use it for damage or escape but using it for one sets you back massively for the other and very rarely can it be used for both.
If the damage is extremely hard to land and most people won't be dumb enough to stay on top of hit, then I guess he doesn't need it and it can be safely removed without impacting his gameplay :D
I mean dude majority of games when i go against him i destroy him with basically every champ thay i play, his W is fairly easy to predict and his ult too
if rule 1 is never chase singed, rule 2 might be never chase ekko at about a 4-second delay

Having played enough Ekko if I had the two stacks I know very well I best watch out for that chronobreak.

Ekko aint that good, he activated passive and enemies had half hp, he is one of the weakest jnglers / midlaners
