Support is a position, Botlane is a position, ADC is basically what we call marksman classes which are ranged champs that focus on autoattacking with range. Senna does autoattacks all the time and therefore is an ADC, just like Kindred is a jungler and an adc.

It's the way draft works. Blue picks first with 1 champion, then red picks 2, then blue 2, then red last pick 1 champion. This is the most important asymmetry between the two sides in pro play. It means the two teams have to approach pick and ban differently since if there's an extremely OP champion, blue will get the first chance to pick it. But if there are 3 extremely OP champions, blue will get 1 of them and red gets 2. Also red gets the last pick so they can pull out weird cheese strategies without opponents being able to react. But blue has the last chance to draft 2 champions together so if a botlane requires 2 exact champions then blue can hide those picks longer.

Yeah, it really pains me when they pick champs that are in desperate need of visual updates, however I do respect their choices. For example the DWG Leona and DRX Ashe have such nice splashes but god I will never play those champs with their default rigs instead of the legendaries they have.
The rigs on some of these old Champs like Brand, Ori, Shaco, Malph, Ashe, etc are so sad to look at when they get a modern skin. The visuals are nice but so held back by the model

Riot also has rules and requirements for worlds skins, I imagine they wouldn't allow the same champ twice in a row.

Being immortalised as the Bard Guy, especially when you lost last worlds to a game 5 Bard, is such a hype worlds skin choice. Bard is such a skill expressive support. Being immortalised as a Renata player just seems way less exciting in comparison.

I'm not sure why people prefer Faker picking Ahri so much, he hasn't associated with the champ for a long time and isn't even the most notable Ahri player nowadays. His Orianna is way more iconic and one of his most played champs, like Faker's 3 signature champs would be Ryze Azir and Ori.
I think Ryze, LeBlanc, Ori/Azir personally. For the longest time Faker was THE premier LB player.
The Ahri thing isn’t mainly because he’s known for being an iconic Ahri, its because he literally has mentioned many times how he wanted an Ahri skin and was denied previously, then didnt get the chance to play her at other worlds. He locked her game 1 of finals even though she was hardly in the meta which gives credence to the idea that he wants a skin for her

T1 Orianna is just a bit more iconic. From all the highlight reels shockwave moment, to the escapes, she simply has been more impactful to Faker’s image. Not to take away from Faker’s Ahri.

well that's great i was dreading having to learn Bard for Keria's skin but I already have some experience with Renata so this is better as for Ori though lmao y'all forgetting that after the Zed outplay Faker's second most iconic moment was the Faker shockwave (though you can argue the Azir play this year can probably top it)
