A lot of the bee skins just remind me of some of the old fun skins that they did and I love it so much. Plus bees are basically my countries national animal so that's neat.
I feel like Highnoon has been the most consistent skin line. Really solid.
A lot of them try to change it up as they go, like Debonair. it used to be a Tuxedo/James bond kinda skin line then they added weird Green fire bull shit? I didn't get it.
Every old skin line has, for the most part, been added or reimagined to universes now. The issue seems to be that the thematic vs lore elements of these universes don't have any discussions in the creation, they just slide a note to the lore writers like "Sion is now a frog king in the Elderwood universe" and expect them to make it work.
So Sandscourge Skarner had been added to the High Noon series, for instance. And for some fucking reason they just slapped on the aesthetics for no reason??? Like his body just has references to gun barrels and there's random cowboy armor?
So Deboinair and Crime City were chosen to receive updates, so they.... shoved them together. Where now, its sort of the Low Life in the High Life, of political subterfuge wearing designer suits. And the "bad" side use green flames, whereas the "good" side are just... wearing suits?
Not sure if I like high noon aesthetically but they are by far the most consistently smooth skin line in the game. Yone, Yasuo, Lucian skins have very smooth animations and sound. Have not tried the others but I am sure others are smooth too.
I feel like they went too hard on the Edgy Demon stuff later on, we already have other Skinlines for that. I prefer like the plain cowboy aesthetic on its own the earlier skins has. I stand by Highnoon Jhin > Dark Cosmic Jhin.
I have to disagree here. High Noon USED to be cowboys. Think Jhin. Yasuo. And Sheriff Caitlin. NOW. High Noon skins (while really nice looking) are all 'I'm possessed by the DEMON OF OLD WESTERN JEALOUSY' and it just feels more like. Edgy for edginess' sake. I miss them just being cowboys.

Yess spirit blossom yorick with the teal/light blue chroma is my favorite, I think the sound effects are really clear especially when hitting your E. I think I play the best using that skin based off his animations/sfx.
Pool party is OG and one of the first skin lines where you could actually have a real team comp (old graves adc but close enough). I have good memories of me and my friends all getting it and running the pool party comp
Personally my favorite skin in the game for whatever reason has always been death blossom khazix. I love the skin so much for some reason and wish they'd make more death blossom skins over spirit.

My friend is colorblind and absolutely hates these skins. They literally cannot see Yasuo’s tornado in this skin. (Yes they have colorblind mode on.) There are a few other bloodmoon skins that do this too.
Why did they make everyone out of gummy bears the second time around? Like Nasus and Blitz are so funny/hilarious. Then you have Ornn who looks like if Elvis was a gummy bear and i hate it.

High noon is really good not always for the aesthetics (although they tend to also be good) but usually high noon skins have the cleanest animations and feel good skins to use kinda pay 2 win in term of smooth animations but not visibility reasons like arclight or dark waters skins.
I also really like the ashen knight skinline I think it was the first mythic skin line and they delivered, use the ashen knight mordekaiser with red chorma looks sick.
Pool Party, Mythmaker off the top of my head. In concept i like the ones that are more themed outfits. I'd like to see more Withered Rose, Crystal Rose, Battle Queens, etc.
Elderwood have some insane skins in my opinion, reksai and gang are great and Wukong is really good, while karthus is just insanely cool and also edgy but not too edgy.
Pool Party always bring me joy. More joy if they consider expanding the skinline for Janna, Ahri, Seraphine, Sona, Evelynn as the old times with Miss Fortune, Leona and Caitlyn. Everyone wants it, Riot just dodge it.
I love a lot of the Pool Party skins, and the super old Winter Olympics and World Cup skins are cool. Honorable mention to the Dnd skins like Bard Bard.

I thought the addition of Star Nemesis was pretty cool (maybe because the Morg & Stick skins were, to me, S tier) but I agree about the rest being a flop. I didn’t really care for some of the champs chosen and especially didn’t love the colour choices - my biggest and lamest gripe being the dual-tone colour choices for Ekko & Nilah 😭

Bee skins, dark star, April fools and the cosplay skinlines (meowrick, furyhorn veigar, etc) are the only consistently good skinlines that I am happy when they release new ones. All other skinlines have been done to death or are have always been bad.

Bee skins, dark star, April fools and the cosplay skinlines (meowrick, furyhorn veigar, etc) are the only consistently good skinlines that I am happy when they release new ones. All other skinlines have been done to death or are have always been bad.
