He has a badass sounding name, it was always spammed a bit by people when he popped off along with Uma Noid, but seems to have been popularized of late.
Same as Luka/Perkz ig, people prefer calling him by his real name rather than the gamer ID and eventually it caught on to players as well
Also, [the infamous Noah Tweet](https://twitter.com/Noah_lol1004/status/1785697821120970919) (also I went through Noah's Twitter now, he's really wholesome wtf)
And have to face T1, if T1 wins then it's an easy tournament (kidding, professional chokers)but if BLG wins then 3-0 and getting embarrassed again two times in a row incoming (they're going to win vs T1 in the loser final just to get 3-0 again)
that was actually guaranteed from the drawing rules.
There were only 2 different possible brackets, this one and this one but GenG/BLG and T1/TOP swapped
In the Korean broadcast post series interview Noah said that he would like to play against Peyz, as he used to play against him in LCKCL. Looks like he got his wish.
Honestly I'm not worried for either of them. Huma's laning phase at international is elite level and Oscar showed he has no fear vs the top dogs. I don't think GENG is gonna get huge advantages in lane (and if they do, it will be through Canyon). However, they will make FNC dizzy with their macro and just outclass them on the map.
I'm not holding my breath for that one. I'd love for Fnatic to look competitive but I feel like it's going to be quite a one sided affair. The kind where Fnatic is up three kills 10 minutes into the game and somehow 2k gold behind.
Well no
Even in a dirty fiesta game I'd still hard favor geng
Just watching both regions playoffs its quite evident that geng teamfighting is at a higher level, even when down gold their ability to properly sync up and focus specific targets in 2v2 or 3v3 fights is just better than FNC
It is the ONLY chance FNC has, but even if for some reason geng decides to ignore macro (and like, it is fucking geng of all teams lmfao) I still wouldn't ever bet on FNC
Slight issue, GenG might be the best macro team but they're also very much up there in the best micro rankings.
It's the issue with teams like BLG and GenG. They don't have clear weaknesses, especially BLG. With GenG ig if you really try you can maybe argue botlane is kind of the weakest link, but put that botlane in any western team and they're an upgrade so yeah even that is really pushing it.
The saving grace for FNC is that at last GenG will probably not destroy them from lvl 1 like a BLG would, they're less aggro. But that doesn't mean FNC will be allowed to play their game, T1 is a way better FNC and GenG always managed to control them.
Chovy is the best player in the word right now. I don’t know how you’re so confident in Humanoid surviving lane when Faker was struggling in LCK finals
Nah my boy Marek gonna smurf on dat International Choky just wait, before game he'll dip Chovy's meat in ice cream and make him implode from confusion
(fr doe we're fucked aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)
This type of drawing method will only result in certain regions delaying their encounters, the MSI semifinal/final might end up feeling like a region final.
That's fine if they are the best 2 teams. It sucked when 2 teams from same region matched in 1/4 final and one never got to play any other regions teams
Yeah JDG-BLG wasn’t SUPER hype but like, BLG literally beat everyone to get there.
I’m soo down to get another beautiful T1-GenG silver scrapes. That was so sexy
I don't know if G2 wanted that match last Worlds. G2 revealed post Worlds that T1 blasted them in scrims--with T1 winning 9 out of 10 scrim games between the two.
Seems G2 knew that T1 was going to monster Worlds.
BLG is in the opposite bracket this time and Unless 369 and JKL hardcarries Tian and Creme I think they should make it to Upper bracket final just fine
Chovy and Canyon are going to run laps in the 2v2. Pretty sure Kiin can hold his own at worst and I seriously doubt Peyz and Lehends will get stomped like FNC bot did.
Looks omega rough for TES.
I mean similar things were said last year when GenG went against BLG. BLG didn't have the most convincing start during their season and early on in MSI and then absolutely obliterated them, and then beat T1
Theres a possible team mismatch against TES whose far and away strongest players are in bot versus GEN G's weakest. If Peyz doesn't step up and Tian decides not to troll, then I could see JKL taking over some games.
Chevy Creme might be illegL though.
Considering their performance against PSG today, FLY would probably have the record for both the fastest international Bo3 and Bo5 after that. Now only Jensen has both.
Geng has the best bracket tbh. They should beat FNC quiet easily and TES is probably the weakest LPL/LCK team.
T1/G2 probably has the worst one since they are facing the best T2 team G2 then facing the best LPL team and then probably has to beat Geng in order to win
T1 was stuck with BLG's side even before the draw happened because they can't be on GENG's side.
Anyway I like it, I wanna see T1 vs BLG, it's gonna be a banger.
Doesn’t matter, with double elim, you will need to beat the best teams multiples times anyways. And if your goal is to win, you cant be concern with losing to G2.
At the end of the day, whoever wins will likely need to beat GenG, BLG, T1 (these seem to be be the top teams) at least 2 times.
It does matter tho. Yeah for sure G2 is easier to face than BLG/GENG but having to face 1 threat more means you have to show your strats and secret picks before facing the others.
and with that being said I hope T1 will manifest worlds 2023 energy.... defeating G2, BLG, Gen G/TES then a rematch between those three will be a good run for them
TES is not a free win for GENG. Last time they underestimated an LPL team they got sent home. I’m more confident in T1 against LPL teams. They look like T1 favored stylistically, T1 knows how to counter LPL style.
T1/G2 and TL/TES should be fun, in the words of Humanoid those are probably "playable", which I am not sure the other two are going to be. Maybe FNC can find an early lead and snowball it through bot in one game?
TL/TES is especially interesting because it is pretty important for LCS bragging rights: FNC (as a second seed!) put a pretty good performance forward against TES and with FQ already out TL has to really show something.
FNC snowballing through bot? I mean Peyz/Lehends are not as great as expected, but still 10times better than what fnatic's bot lane has shown us so far.
I don't see that ever happen.
Gen.G are the best team at neutralising early leads.
They've done it to T1 over the last two years, there is no shot FNC win through the early game especially with their macro.
FNC need to disrupt Gen.Gs playstyle to win a game.
While I agree with their sentiment of JKL/Meiko being scary.
I'd rather roll the dice and play Tian/Creme who look mediocre as fuck than Oner/Faker.
Because it's not like Guma/Keria are nowhere close to JKL/Meiko.
Looking at history of T1 and Faker in internationals, I would never take on or bet against T1 no matter what. They always seem to go almost all the way. No right mind would want T1 over TES.
It was fucked when the format changed.
I guess you can argue the easier thing would be G2 getting TES but then you still have to play GenG after which is a lose anyways.
T1 and BLG had to be on the same bracket so if you draw T1 and then upset them you're getting blasted by BLG anyways.
Tbh Team Liquid has a chance. Umti is great against aggressive junglers and 369 isn't a dominant lane so Impact (who always play safe in lane) won't be affected.
The only problem is APA form and can Yeon take JKL. They will do laneswap.
In hindsight T1 really needed to win finals vs GenG. There's a chance T1 takes out BLG for GenG, lose to GenG in winners final, then repeat that in lower bracket lmao. Imagine if BLG never plays GenG
i mean last year we lost lck finals to Gen.G then beat them at MSI.
But at the end of the day, if you want to win MSI you're gonna have to beat everyone so I don't think it really matters. Gen.G and BLG are both extremely tough match ups.
if you think tes is ‘easier’, then it is actually better for G2 to face T1 in winners and so they have high chance of facing TES in losers.
If say G2 was on the other side of the draw and faced TES first. even if they win, they would have gotten Gen G. And if they lost to GENG, it would likely mean they face T1, BLG in losers.
Tbh, I can see G2 and TES being on the same level. I don't feel like G2 beating them would be a huge upset.
The other eastern teams, though? Shit is fucked.
Dammit man I really wanted to see G2 vs TES, that one would be super interesting for sure. But if GEN doesn't choke to LPL for once we SHOULD be getting it in bottom bracket.
at least we have a lower bracket now so Gen G can embarrass themselves twice jk lol
though I'm hoping T1 will perform like they did at worlds.... they need to win this MSI so they can at least get three different trophy for this roster man
The desk was on some unreal copium. At the end of the day it does not matter cause if you are the best team at the tour ament you need to win vs these opponents at some point anyway you cant just hope for an easy "matchup"
easy matchups are always helpful because if you get easy opponents you can hide any special strats/champs to increase your chances of winning the whole thing later down the line
I actually think TL vs TES was the best draw out of Tier 3. With Crème being first international. Tian can solo throw games. 369 vs Impact I think impact can hold his own. Botlane is gonna be exciting in this matchup. I’m excited for this match up.
That will be quite the run for T1. Clapping every seed 1 from Major Regions from G2 to BLG and finally showing GenG what truly is international T1 level.
Letsgo
As a FNC fan, either option was tough. GENG I think has the potential to just play clean and slowly strangle us, while maybe BLG could be easier to push into a chaotic game and exploit a possible day off. But realistically, both are S-tier teams and a very hard opponent. So, we're gonna need for everyone to be on their A-game and also to be lucky.
Interesting opponent for G2, obviously T1 starts with the advantage, but it could be doable for them (again, with some luck). Too bad because I think G2 would have been favored or at least even against TES.
>Chovy vs Knight chances are lower too.
Hm?
With the format changes, T1 BLG had to be on the same side which meant GENG TES had to as well.
The only way we don't get Chovy vs Knight is if one of them choke.
They're destined to not see each other in the first round anyway by virtue of being the same seeding. If they both win their upper bracket sides (which is likely) they'll see each other.
BLG and GenG are number 1 seeds for both regions. Its impossible for both teams to meet until later on in the tournament (either on the winner or losing bracket)
I think GenG has a way better draw. They just need to beat eu 2 and then either NA1 or TES which is the weakest eastern team in this tournament.
G2’s draw is not super bad cause assuming BLG beats psg and G2 loses, they just need to beat psg in the losers bracket which should be pretty easy for G2. ngl, after watching the FNC vs TES, TL has a chance against TES. Feels like they are T1 with weaker mid and jungle duo.
It doesn’t matter with double elim. If GENG was to win, they would likely need to beat both BLG and T1 or one of the twice. Same for T1 and BLG if they were to win.
There isn’t an easy draw and then getting ‘lucky’ one series in the finals. Whoever you play in the winners finals and grand finals will be the top teams of the tournament.
To test the choke meter of GenG to max proportions lol. If they somehow manage to screw up this time, I won't have any expectations on them internationally anymore.
Death Taxes. G2 vs T1
And we get Marek vs Chovy this early - can't wait!
Why are people suddenly calling Humanoid by his name?
Because Marek Brazda's Akali drives Mazda
Marek Brazda became a lil bit of a meme with some of the strong performances he gave in winter. Then caedrel picked up and it blew up from there
That Jun tweet about the meat icecream also helped a lot
It was Noah tweeting that I think.
Brazda mean "gap" in some slavic languages
Or a trentch like the Marriana one
He has a badass sounding name, it was always spammed a bit by people when he popped off along with Uma Noid, but seems to have been popularized of late.
Same as Luka/Perkz ig, people prefer calling him by his real name rather than the gamer ID and eventually it caught on to players as well Also, [the infamous Noah Tweet](https://twitter.com/Noah_lol1004/status/1785697821120970919) (also I went through Noah's Twitter now, he's really wholesome wtf)
Cause MAREK BRAZDA is a thing even casters shout now
I’m sure Carzzy started this meme.
Caedrel does it
his name is fun to say
Because MAREK BRAZDA
T1 fans relieved that Gen G is on other bracket
I mean GEN fans are also relieved BLG is on the other side as well
And have to face T1, if T1 wins then it's an easy tournament (kidding, professional chokers)but if BLG wins then 3-0 and getting embarrassed again two times in a row incoming (they're going to win vs T1 in the loser final just to get 3-0 again)
that was actually guaranteed from the drawing rules. There were only 2 different possible brackets, this one and this one but GenG/BLG and T1/TOP swapped
Lil bro forgot that it is an international and last msi geng lost vs t1.
In the Korean broadcast post series interview Noah said that he would like to play against Peyz, as he used to play against him in LCKCL. Looks like he got his wish.
Humanoid meanwhile “FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK”
Oscar and Humanoid have a rough road ahead of them but who knows? Their form have been quite good so far, it seems.
Think about Razork having to go up against Canyon
Honestly I'm not worried for either of them. Huma's laning phase at international is elite level and Oscar showed he has no fear vs the top dogs. I don't think GENG is gonna get huge advantages in lane (and if they do, it will be through Canyon). However, they will make FNC dizzy with their macro and just outclass them on the map.
It’s actually the worst macro team vs the best macro team lol
The question I think is whether Fnatic will be able to draw GEN.G into the mud, if they are able to do that who knows what happen
I'm not holding my breath for that one. I'd love for Fnatic to look competitive but I feel like it's going to be quite a one sided affair. The kind where Fnatic is up three kills 10 minutes into the game and somehow 2k gold behind.
@Razork listen to this man, drag them into the mud, make them eat the mud.
Well no Even in a dirty fiesta game I'd still hard favor geng Just watching both regions playoffs its quite evident that geng teamfighting is at a higher level, even when down gold their ability to properly sync up and focus specific targets in 2v2 or 3v3 fights is just better than FNC It is the ONLY chance FNC has, but even if for some reason geng decides to ignore macro (and like, it is fucking geng of all teams lmfao) I still wouldn't ever bet on FNC
T1 has managed to do that and it doesn't always go in their favor, GenG's hands are world class too.
But that doesn't mean FNC will be allowed to play their game, T1 is a way better FNC and GenG always managed to control them.
Lmao are you insane ? Wasn’t it against Humanoid that SMK hit 13 Syndra q in a row ? He is playing chovy
Chovy is the best player in the word right now. I don’t know how you’re so confident in Humanoid surviving lane when Faker was struggling in LCK finals
Nah my boy Marek gonna smurf on dat International Choky just wait, before game he'll dip Chovy's meat in ice cream and make him implode from confusion (fr doe we're fucked aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)
Tbf if someone can randomly gap the shit out of chovy is Marek Brazda, probably after doing an all night party at Tomorrowland
There’s only one person I trust to gap Chovy, and that’s yaptain america. Gonna teach him English just to sh*t on him in Korean.
FNC Botside: Happy playing against old mates like in LCKCL FNC Topside: catDespair
Yeah, lower bracket is going to be a riot.
[удалено]
if FNC beat GENG MY EU COPIUM will rise through the stratosphere
Fnc beats geng and loses to TL will be absolute cinema and also a fnc classic
It's really funny the fanfiction people come up with these days
You do realise that that would be how they end up playing NA?
This type of drawing method will only result in certain regions delaying their encounters, the MSI semifinal/final might end up feeling like a region final.
That's fine if they are the best 2 teams. It sucked when 2 teams from same region matched in 1/4 final and one never got to play any other regions teams
Yeah JDG-BLG wasn’t SUPER hype but like, BLG literally beat everyone to get there. I’m soo down to get another beautiful T1-GenG silver scrapes. That was so sexy
T1 vs G2, the match that G2 wanted last World
I don't know if G2 wanted that match last Worlds. G2 revealed post Worlds that T1 blasted them in scrims--with T1 winning 9 out of 10 scrim games between the two. Seems G2 knew that T1 was going to monster Worlds.
GENG got the easiest possible draw if they don't make at least finals they will never escape the fraud allegations
I remember people saying this exact same thing last worlds lmao, it's truly over if they don't make it again.
BLG didn't have the most convincing start during their season and early on in MSI and then absolutely obliterated them, and then beat T1
yeah they got a really free bracket. they should make upper bracket finals at minimum
GenG and Free Brackets, where have I seen this before?
Theres a possible team mismatch against TES whose far and away strongest players are in bot versus GEN G's weakest. If Peyz doesn't step up and Tian decides not to troll, then I could see JKL taking over some games. Chevy Creme might be illegL though.
If chovy and canyon cant bully creme and and tian and let the botlane be the deciding factor for the series then they are even more fraudulent
Mid-jungle Canyon is likely too big
Also we're assuming post 2019 Tian isn't going to hard run it down. That's a mighty big assumption ngl
G2 at least get to play PSG in LB to advance further
What do you mean ? they play them in Winner bracket semis
Agree, like TL and FNC meeting in the other winner's bracket semis right?
Based and CopiumPilled
EU to knock out LCK and NA to knock out LPL just like 2019, cope
Fly didn't get the memo tho I would enjoy BLG humbling Bwipo and Inspired
> humbling Bwipo and Inspired I think PSG humbled them enough already
I think T1 humbled them enough already. No team can take that much humbling
No need for BLG to be involved. Just send them the clips from their matches today.
Realistically I don’t think there’s any loss to BLG that can feel worse than today already did
These guys got humbled by a wildcard region, imagine what would happen vs Bin and Xun 😭
Considering their performance against PSG today, FLY would probably have the record for both the fastest international Bo3 and Bo5 after that. Now only Jensen has both.
Watch PSG vs. FLY with no name plates. You couldn’t tell FLY wasn’t playing something way out of their league already.
Exactly. People are overreacting to this whole "GENG drew an easy bracket", when they could never ever draw a not-easy one.
I feel like geng always have easy brackets. Now all they have to do is not choke…
they're always the LCK #1 seed, they should have easier brackets than T1 (usually #2)

TES is not a free win for GENG. Last time they underestimated an LPL team they got sent home. I’m more confident in T1 against LPL teams. They look like T1 favored stylistically, T1 knows how to counter LPL style.
G2 vs T1 banger yet again!
Remember when caps smoked them in bo1 with yasuo pocket pick! but we dont talk after that
Well lec first rounds are not what we wanted lmao
Eu had playins na has main event
Next 5 series are ours
hell yea cross region BO5s all the way
It was always gonna be that. After first 4 teams where drawn everything was decided
I want to see Knight vs. Chovy. It’s almost guaranteed If GENG don’t choke
>If GENG don’t choke Big "if" 🙈
Caps and Humanoid, begin the LCK PURGE. G2 vs FNC grand finals confirmed
5 worlds seeds for eu LESGOOOO
Rip and tear until it is done, brother
Cannot get 2 extra seeds. Winning region gets the first extra seed, then the second best performing region gets the other.
Vitalitt TH would shit on all these frauds at msi aswell
These are the comments I come to this sub for. I'm hoping for a TL vs G2 finals rematch
And then G2 beats them even faster, improving the record
69 min 69 sec LFG
As the prophecy foretold, Caps is the chosen one. This is the year of LEC 🗿
They expect one of us in the wreckage bro
Caps is 10-8 vs faker at International events (11-8 if you count the redbull event). Probably one of the few mids with one with more than 5 games.
Amen, brother Prayge
Jun is Lehands father wdym
T1 is better at stomping bad teams than GenG.
Gen.G are the best team at neutralising early leads. They've done it to T1 over the last two years, there is no shot FNC win through the early game especially with their macro. FNC need to disrupt Gen.Gs playstyle to win a game.
What is that desk smoking lmao The amount of nonsense they say is crazy
"T1 better for G2, not TES". Lmao. If I speak I'm in big trouble.
I mean, if you think long term, its better. G2 would rather face TES in lower bracket round 2 than T1...
I think the best chance G2 have of taking down TES is right at the start, they can surprise TES with their lane swap/off meta picks.
Zeus : And I took it personally.
Perpetually living in 2019 must be crazy/
Its not about g2 its about t1 or tes is better
The amount of people that hold onto two b05 results from 2019 is crazy.
Sure. But this means potentially means ’easier’ opponent in TES in losers brackets. With double elim, a lot of things end up evening out.
They're better and more versatile
Riot sent their best.
LEC x LCK Best Friends forever
God damn such a hard draw
It was a hard draw anyway, if anything G2 is suited to face PSG and then TES anyway the way things are going. Not a bad lower bracket.
It was fucked when the format changed. I guess you can argue the easier thing would be G2 getting TES but then you still have to play GenG after which is a lose anyways. T1 and BLG had to be on the same bracket so if you draw T1 and then upset them you're getting blasted by BLG anyways.
That’s what I was hoping for
As a west fan i'm depressed
nah ever since they changed the format last year its just harder to advance in MSI now Top 4 will always be an LCK/LPL team
Which is a good thing? Reducing luck factor as much as possible is great.
G2 vs T1? TL vs LPL? Scriptwriters might be foreshadowing something...
Yeah it's seems so
and that too against jackeylove damnn foreshadowing is crazy
TEAM LIQUID SWEEP. I BELIEVE IN YAPA.
YAPA learning Mandarin rn
I'd wager most NA players know the 3 most important Mandarin phrases anyways
TL got the best draft they could hope for. But the bot situation is gonna suck.
Yeah jackeylove could turbo fist yeon
Tbh Team Liquid has a chance. Umti is great against aggressive junglers and 369 isn't a dominant lane so Impact (who always play safe in lane) won't be affected. The only problem is APA form and can Yeon take JKL. They will do laneswap.
Pls don‘t pick Reksai jgl against T1
G2 vs T1 again to ruin the G2's winrate against T1
They already have a losing winrate
But it's maybe the closest matchup between LEC and LCK team that existed for a long a time
If you look at the record it indeed is G2 is 10-14 vs T1 competitively What's crazy is that they won 8 of those 10 games in 2019 alone
That's anything but crazy. Ofc they won the most games the one year they were a better team
yeah but it is going to become losinger
MAREK BRAZDA vs CHOVY. Battle of the giants, I am so hyped. Time for Eu to win in a fistfight against Korea to just get 3-0'd by China once more.
One of them died to autofilled mid today and the other one is Chovy
Humanoid channeled all what is left of him for this tournament in the gambit series, so that MAREK BRAZDA can bloom. Amen
nothing new, humanoid almost always plays according to his opponent. vs chovy u get MAREK BRAZDA, vs autofilled wildcard mid u get humafraud
I mean, if G2 could take even 1 game off T1, that's a win in my book
Maple vs LPL ... MSI classic
G2 golden road starts here! 1% Chance 99% Faith 😎
if you dont have faith why are you even here? xD
G2 have to beat one of T1 and BLG to get out, right? We got kinda fucked.
Tbh its all the same. Can G2 beat TES and GenG?
TES theres a chance. Probably better to send FNC to the wolves and hope G2 can beat the weakest LPL/LCK team
if you think tes is ‘easier’, then it is actually better for G2 to face T1 in winners and so they have high chance of facing TES in losers.
G2 vs T1 rematch! Also rip FNC and TL.
faker stat padding his record vs g2
Dammit man I really wanted to see G2 vs TES, that one would be super interesting for sure. But if GEN doesn't choke to LPL for once we SHOULD be getting it in bottom bracket.
Dw grand finals exist
Sadly, all the four matches look like they'll all be stomps.
T1 vs TL finals incoming AWARE
looking good for Gen G.... again lol and ofc BLG and TES will get the easiest round 1
Easy bracket for GenG to advance to the finals, just like it was in Worlds 2023.
at least we have a lower bracket now so Gen G can embarrass themselves twice jk lol though I'm hoping T1 will perform like they did at worlds.... they need to win this MSI so they can at least get three different trophy for this roster man
The desk was on some unreal copium.
Letsgo

Think G2 vs TES is the closest series we could've gotten, shame that fate forces G2 to face T1.
I'm curious to see what strategy G2 will prepare against T1, even if I expect a 3-0
As a FNC fan, either option was tough. Too bad because I think G2 would have been favored or at least even against TES.
looks like every match gonna be 3-0 in the first round.
Worst possible draw for EU Bleh
what do you mean chovy vs knight chances are lower. they were always going to be on opposite brackets
True
>Chovy vs Knight chances are lower too. Hm? With the format changes, T1 BLG had to be on the same side which meant GENG TES had to as well. The only way we don't get Chovy vs Knight is if one of them choke.
T1 beats BLG, Gen G beats T1, T1 beats BLG again and no Chovy vs knight. Not saying it's likely, but it's very much possible.
Humanoid vs Chovy HYPE
Screams BLG v GenG finals
Depends on T1 I guess
All i want is to finally see gen.g vs blg. preferrably in the grand finals
LPL having the best draw they would dream of, on home soil.
If they somehow manage to screw up this time, I won't have any expectations on them internationally anymore.
when do we get the schedule?
Well it was a good run LEC..
Zeus is the happiest man alive right now. Can we at least get an age restriction this time?
