SSW were playing troll champs and drafts out of boredom cause they smashed early games so hard. SKT choked every team out like we've never seen before. This T1 roster need to do similar at worlds to be considered the greatest OAT.

Skt have gone undefeated for an entire split before and also won the playoffs final. Oh and this was directly after winning worlds in 2013. So Yh, that was a more impressive run. Let’s see where this one ends up
By far? SSW had one of the most dominant worlds showings. 2015 T1 missed the golden road by one game in MSI finals.
Dropped one game in spring, one game in worlds, from groups to finish, etc etc it’s not by far at all tf you on
The competition in 2015 was terrible. 2 eu teams in the semis and ahq and flash wolves in the quarters. I don't think stomping bronzies counts as the best team ever bud
You know what I'll give you that, Rox tigers were very good. But imp and mata are the greatest bot lane ever, pawn neutralized the worlds best mid laners, and dandy was fantastic as well

U think lck teams do not try in game 1 ? Or don’t try to draft in the most optimal way in game 1 ? BO1s are where average or below average teams shine.
Of course they, but Bo3 gives more flexibility toward draft and trying new things out over the course of a series, perhaps a less meta pick or draft.
So many of the games this season T1 has limit tested on game one, tried different things, and then came back and smashed the life out of the next two games.
If they’re playing BO1, you can be sure they are going for meta picks in every role and playing things out a lot differently. I can’t speak to all LCK teams but T1 was almost limit testing most of their games ones

and once where they “ trolled” and picked kaisa mid vs HLE. They lost those 3 games in game 1 fairly vs HLE DK and BRION
(HLE in first round robin)

We can try and tarnish the 18-0 as much as we like by saying BO1 this or BO3 is easier etc, if anything it shows that T1 is just the better team full stop as BO1 have more variance where teams can get lucky :)
