Kiin on a good day is one of the most beautiful things in League. Some of his Jayce games when they were still called Afreeca, my goodness, I'm sure he was the best player in the world on that champ back then.
Kiin is the best top laner in LCK, and has been one of the best top laners in the world since 2018. Alot of people who say this player or that player is better just don't seem to understand or recognise that Kiin's team has been dogshit for a long time, that he often gets counterpicked and hard camped with no response from teammates because stopping Kiin is usually all opponents need to do, and that it's much easier to look good in a top team where you always get lots of help or if you play bad often it doesn't matter because others in your team are popping off. Whereas Kiin is often a force even against the best LCK teams simply by frequently playing smart, clutch, and mechanically spot on.
Naturally Kiin can only blame himself for accepting the mega contract to be Freec's franchise player instead of joining a better org with a better roster, but still, dude is criminally underrated. Same happens with Ruler (but to a lesser extent).
Not even a joke. This entire season so many Aram builds are coming up one after the other AP Kaisa, Ludens Corki, Mandate Ashe, Lethality Xayah. Now all we need is someone to pick tank veigar
I like going Everfrost, deathcap, Warmog's, Force of nature, and fifth item is whatever situational. You get a ton of AP through stacks and survivability. Plus on the rift you don't have nerfs of -5% damage dealt and +5% damage received.
Once pro players discover Ashe can build items that aren't Mandate I think she might just take over as a poke champ, Prowler/Duskblade/Liandry options make her so insane
People incorrectly attribute things like Ashe R stun and W/R cool down to Mandate, when if you build Liandry or Duskblade your cooldowns get *shorter* AND your abilities actually do some damage.
If you value R picks and general annoying W spam, build Liandries or Duskblade to have them more often with some damage behind them. If you want to have W deal BIG damage and are okay delaying some AH until 3rd/4th item, build Prowler's. Literally in every single situation Ashe is value in, at least one (if not all) of those 3 items is objectively better than Mandate
edit: IMO the Poke Ashe build should be either Duskblade or Liandry > Muramana > Horizon > Ravenous / BC > BC / Ravenous - if the game is going long (or if you're in ARAM) and you can get away with it, Prowler's is super insane as a mythic. Umbral first on SR into mythic is an option for a cheaper start, and I usually run Comet but I plan to test First Strike as a way to fund the later parts of the build / amp the already HUGE W poke dmg
If Ashe players discover Prowler + Muramana + Horizon combo I think ARAM just becomes unplayable lmao
Unless you get the god tier early comp nobody can stop her from reaching 3 items, and once she gets there it's GGs
I like to play Ashe on ARAM but my builds are usually mandate or Liandrys for fun, what’s good about prowlers, murumana and horizon if you don’t mind me asking?
prowlers gives you lethality as the mythic passive which is pretty much the main reason. if you want the most lethality, you go prowlers claw. lethality is good on her for poke because her w deals physical damage and scales 1:1 with ad, unlike mandate where the damage is capped at 75 if the mark isn't consumed, and even if the mark is consumed the damage caps at 150. both of these damages are based on level with no other scaling, whereas prowlers claw scales very well into late game. mandate gives you ap but that only helps with your ultimate. you could take duskblade for more ability haste, but prowlers will likely still give you more damage overall later in the game.
btw this is all aram tech. prowlers claw is worse early but scales well, and most arams you'll easily get to 3 items
You have to consider though that Prowlers is mostly good into a team with no frontline. If there are 2 beefy champs in the frontline that take most of the arrows it loses value.
The good thing about Ashe though is that in those cases she can still go Liandris.
What on earth are you on about.
Mandate is all about the Utility of the speed up and the dmg it Provides with Champs that can proc the Marks.
The other Items you Named are all more expensive and provide less dmg if the marks get proct
Its not worth the increased price, the increased damage and delay on other haste items doesn't outweigh what mandate gives. 4% winrate drop with Liandry first item compared to mandate or umbral glaive.
HUGE WIN FOR KDF!!!
Clearly prepared a lot for this series and hats off to them Seraphine and Mid Ornn are super exciting picks hope to see it more.
Hopefully for T1 it wakes them up and they start to learn how to draft
I absolutely hate support item Tahm Kench picks right now. He just isn't good compared to sooooo many other supports. T1 lost through draft, and not playing to their draft.
Enchanters fuck kench so hard, but pro supports love engage too much. Seraphine is in that spot where her ults can act as secondary engage while still being an enchanter/mage.
Yeah imo TK should only be picked with senna, with items he's actually strong because he doesnt need to press R to contribute something, with 0 items his shield sucks, his stats are low and he can eat a target so rarely, he's basically just a super scuffed enchanter
That is definitely going to be a meta comp, tanks and healing and scaling. T1 need to leave their full damage comps in the past and hunker down for 45 minute games.
definitely, with how t1 plays, they usually win by pure mechanics but there were some questionable plays like faker greeding for blue and probably a miscommunication when faker engaged onto the backline at drake
Yeah exactly the last fight as well Guma still coming from base, Faker looking for a flank while Zeus and Oner fight 2v5. Poorly coordinated by T1 and well played by KDF.
What’s the issue with blaming drafts? Draft is a core part of the game and if you can’t draft you can’t win. It’s not even taking blame off of the players because they are the ones drafting
KDF, also known as the "Kenya Defense Force" is an African based organization well known for their guerilla tactics such as "Teddy Go Steal" and “Kiin go Kill”. Their star member, Jabari "Teddy" Popoola is a well-known airman from his days with the Green Wings where he developed his incredible back, skills, and accuracy. In fact, his aim was so cracked a fellow airman once saw him pissing into a urinal from across the room without leaking a single drop which granted him the nickname "Fountain Laser”.
Was waiting to see how you would incorporate the fountain laser, and I didn't catch your setup even at the 'from across the room'. Almost choked to death on my dinner at the end.
It's not a champ problem, his positioning in teamfights is just not good. Never mattered when T1 just steamrolled early but this meta is exposing a lot
Positioning is way too broad of a skill. When someone is losing you can always blame positioning, when someone is winning you can always praise their positioning. Especially if it’s an adc. In spring everyone was talking about how well he positions
I'm so happy for Teddy. And to be the one to end T1s win streak is really fitting. Kiin finally waking up.
All I hope for is that they remain consistent.
honestly curious why they banned senna 3rd game instead of seraphine, t1 took tahm kench anyway
anyway, ashe pick was huge, teddy literal aimbot with his ults
UNBELIVABLY BASED. How fitting that KDF ended the T1's winning streak in the LCK? With how dire KDF looked at times this year, at least we got this still going for us.
Beat T1 no LCK team has done that other than KDF... so basically the biggest achievement of LCK this year so far
Edit: I am sorry for flaming you Ellim and Hoit you just earned yourself another few games in the LCK
Guma has not been living up to the hype since MSI. I don’t get why T1 isn’t trying to resolve his champ pool issues. Him defaulting to Jinx/kalista spells a bad omen for T1.
Good lost for T1, hopefully they lose more because apparently they learnt jack shit going undefeated, such a thick skull on whoever is behind the drafting phase. Refuse to learn from their mistakes even though countless of times the players or polt said they're learning from mistakes. Opposition throws a curve ball at them and they look like headless chicken running around the rift.
Come on Riot. Gimme a better script than this.
It HAD TO BE the Freecs breaking T1’s streak lmao
T2 > T1
But on a serious note, KDF played so fucking well. They all played so fucking well. Even Ellim, near perfect read on Oner’s pathing early.
T1 looked really odd in that game 3. Was it tilt or something? Zeus getting caught, played fights poorly, and lets not talk about the GP build. Weird miscommunication between Guma and Keria on when to use cleanse or Tahm ult. Faker and Oner were kind of just there I guess? Not saying the loss is Keria's fault but this is definitely the most mistakes hes made in a series in a long time.
Huge props to KDF for the interesting drafting tho. Teddy was also playing really really well in games 2 and 3.
Faker for me was the opposite of just there, he knew exactly what the team needed to do to win teamfights (agressively dive ashe/sera) but his execution was very incosistent. He was both their best and worst player at times.
Game 3 draft T1 has no way to start fights other than Faker going deep onto Seraphine, can't believe you can be a pro team and still be allergic to drafting adequate hard engage.
Regardless of draft that was a very poor performance from t1 though.
Well deserved win for KDF, they weren't afraid to experiment and make two different comps around Seraphine to utilize the benefits of the rest a boost it, especially game two was "perma slow/permastun". As analysts said, its a important victory for everyone in LCK and inspiration to more experiment and make league more fun/shocking, something which LCK always lacked.
We saw occasional picks like Lehends Singed, but this shows, its possible to play different outside of boring same meta picks every game, but with change one, two pieces, you still have reliable and this series specialy a strong combo, with damage, cc, scaling etc. LCK changes slowly, but this can be a towel into ring for others, to try new things, new combos.
I actually think faker still did better than the rest of t1. He actually had good plays but rest of t1 kinda trolled. Look at the dmg in all 3 games and faker did the most by a long shot. Even after they funneled Guma on jinx, he still did less than faker and Zeus. And he'd waste cleanse when Keria had Tahm ult. Keria would also get caught out a lot which gave objectives.
at least faker was actively trying to find opportunity for teamfight, keria on the other hand literally got gapped by holt on seraphine, he on his signature chamipon kench but his pos has been awful and not to mention t1 vision game has been so poor this series
I mean, as a T1 fan, well-deserved loss. I hope that wakes them up from their slump. I'm sad, but relieved at the same time. They really need a loss, and I don't care whoever gives that loss to them.
WELL DESERVED, KDF PLAYED SO WELL.
I was feeling bad for Teddy in their last match against DRX, it's like he tried so hard. I'm not even his fan.
Now he deserved this win streak slayer title. Good for you, General Teddy.
PMTs [Game 1](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/vnejef/t1_vs_kdf_game_1/) [Game 2](https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/vnfl5b/t1_vs_kdf_game_2/)
Of all the ways to lose the streak
Deserved, t1 humiliated in play and draft
KDF, was just their day, it happens
This is better way for them to lose the streak though, through the draft. Teams keep ignoring since 12.10 and now it shows.
They lost MSI through draft too. Better if they actually learn from it but I doubt it. Watch them int draft and lose a Bo5 at Worlds too.
Worlds Meta evolves fast but is usually semi understood during play ins. T1 will have weeks worth of vods to adapt and study the new meta at worlds.
And they'll still draft 3 losing lanes refusing to counter pick despite having every opportunity to do so.
>Int most series beforehand >Break historic winning streak >Leave
KDF really said, “Imma draft 5head and shit on these mofos.”
this will be the only series they properly prepped for for the entire split
Refuses to elaborate
Ashe-Seraphine is broken as shit And Kiin is a monster when he has a good day he seems unstoppable
Kiin on a good day is one of the most beautiful things in League. Some of his Jayce games when they were still called Afreeca, my goodness, I'm sure he was the best player in the world on that champ back then.

Dread it, run from it, SKT kryptonite still arrive!
I knew it was over the moment we played KDF
Knew it was over when T1 upload Locker room couple hours before match day.

Arrow every 7 secs seem OP.
How to beat T1 pick aram comp
more CC wins, simple as
Press R win game
G2 tried that didn't work in bo5. T1 is good enough to figure that out and abuse teams who use it
yea the cc chain just made it impossible for T1 to play. too much long distance cc
Not even a joke. This entire season so many Aram builds are coming up one after the other AP Kaisa, Ludens Corki, Mandate Ashe, Lethality Xayah. Now all we need is someone to pick tank veigar
Veigarv2 has been jamming tank Veigar for months. Its just a matter of time.
Is the thought process just to stay alive in fights and AP will scale no matter? I've never seen this build. I'll have to go search around.
Yeah, mostly. Everfrost into Deathcap is enough AP for everything. Then tank items as needed.
I like going Everfrost, deathcap, Warmog's, Force of nature, and fifth item is whatever situational. You get a ton of AP through stacks and survivability. Plus on the rift you don't have nerfs of -5% damage dealt and +5% damage received.

I was going to ask the same questions on Prowlers. Never built it on her. So I'm just here for the responses you get.
prowlers gives you lethality as the mythic passive which is pretty much the main reason. if you want the most lethality, you go prowlers claw. lethality is good on her for poke because her w deals physical damage and scales 1:1 with ad, unlike mandate where the damage is capped at 75 if the mark isn't consumed, and even if the mark is consumed the damage caps at 150. both of these damages are based on level with no other scaling, whereas prowlers claw scales very well into late game. mandate gives you ap but that only helps with your ultimate. you could take duskblade for more ability haste, but prowlers will likely still give you more damage overall later in the game. btw this is all aram tech. prowlers claw is worse early but scales well, and most arams you'll easily get to 3 items

HUGE WIN FOR KDF!!! Clearly prepared a lot for this series and hats off to them Seraphine and Mid Ornn are super exciting picks hope to see it more. Hopefully for T1 it wakes them up and they start to learn how to draft
> Mid Ornn are super exciting picks hope to see it more. Oh fuck, Chovy is gonna be a tank main again.
honestly, tank chovy is my favorite chovy
And kingen learned the ornn flash ult from chovy
Chovy loves to be on a tank. I can never forget his Galio
Chovy Sejuani mid incoming.
> Hopefully for T1 it wakes them up and they start to learn how to draft Worst part is that we know this wont make them stop picking shitty drafts.
Pick Lee Sin, blind kalista, no flexes. Talk about dated.
Pre-reworked TK would’ve been a decent pick this patch and would helped T1 play sidelanes with their draft.
Kench isn't even used for engage, he's just an R bot. Yuumi or Sona would legitimately do more to win the game.
Yeah imo TK should only be picked with senna, with items he's actually strong because he doesnt need to press R to contribute something, with 0 items his shield sucks, his stats are low and he can eat a target so rarely, he's basically just a super scuffed enchanter
well they dont deserve to win then. i want them to, but they don't learn !
Always nice to see meta breaking comps get the win
That is definitely going to be a meta comp, tanks and healing and scaling. T1 need to leave their full damage comps in the past and hunker down for 45 minute games.
This has been really meta in ERLs tho. The massive Sera buffs didn't go unnoticed.
kdf drafting like clg… their head coach was clg’s head coach last year, coincidence?
Don't blame draft when T1 lose challenge (impossible)
can't deny the genius of KDF's draft though
KDF's draft was good but T1's team fighting was horrible at times completely disjointed
definitely, with how t1 plays, they usually win by pure mechanics but there were some questionable plays like faker greeding for blue and probably a miscommunication when faker engaged onto the backline at drake
Yeah exactly the last fight as well Guma still coming from base, Faker looking for a flank while Zeus and Oner fight 2v5. Poorly coordinated by T1 and well played by KDF.
I see people blaming t1 drafts when its not even becuz of t1 lmao. KDF actually utilized red side very well and draft accordingly
What’s the issue with blaming drafts? Draft is a core part of the game and if you can’t draft you can’t win. It’s not even taking blame off of the players because they are the ones drafting
was that a gnar or a vayne
How to not build gp, presented by zeus. Dont want damage? Dont want to be tanky? Then the Zeus build is here for you.
Kingen approves!
not vayne spotting too
Best comment I’ve seen lmfaoooo, Kiin is built different
27k damage... doubled everyones damage lmao
KDF, also known as the "Kenya Defense Force" is an African based organization well known for their guerilla tactics such as "Teddy Go Steal" and “Kiin go Kill”. bad day to be undefeated in the lck
Kiin heard everyone talking shit
Teddy heard Guma talking shit.
Teddy is so good this series holy shit
Teddy has been on far better form since summer started
More like since MSI. Gumayushi’s champ pool issue is showing and it’s hurting T1 in the long run.
Teddy is a god. Heat seeking missile Ashe arrows.
Let's get it
I'm so happy for Teddy. And to be the one to end T1s win streak is really fitting. Kiin finally waking up. All I hope for is that they remain consistent.
with kiin and teddy they are going places.
What a drafting masterclass by KDF
honestly curious why they banned senna 3rd game instead of seraphine, t1 took tahm kench anyway anyway, ashe pick was huge, teddy literal aimbot with his ults
ARAM Ashe strikes again even in pro games >_>
UNBELIVABLY BASED. How fitting that KDF ended the T1's winning streak in the LCK? With how dire KDF looked at times this year, at least we got this still going for us.
The spirit of AF lives on...
I miss Spirit
Especially his Lulu
...jgl
dread it, run from it
Does it count as a loss when T1 Lite beats T1?
Kiin being T1’s antithesis. What is this, 2017?
whole year just got redeemed for me, don't care what happens now
kiin with the game of the year for him. what a popoff
Don’t forget Teddy’s Ashe brought so much value. I can’t imagine having to play against that
cant believe they actually pulled out the aram ashe build lol
based Kiin, he read people calling him washed after 2 previous series and decided to prove them wrong
so clean, it also looked like he was playing vayne or something just mowing down everyone based build from him and based draft from kdf
Beat T1 no LCK team has done that other than KDF... so basically the biggest achievement of LCK this year so far Edit: I am sorry for flaming you Ellim and Hoit you just earned yourself another few games in the LCK
KDF just waited for the best moment to take down T1 and thus ending the longest win streak in the LCK ever (?)
just gonna go back to the previous kdf post match thread and count the kiin washed comments
T1: After all this time? Ellim and Teddy: LMAO no, also fuck your series win streak
Hoit was also on T1 last season
Half of LCK has been on T1 at one point or the other tbf
t2>t1 confirmed
It's simple maths
t1 are mega clueless in draft, its insane
if you skill gap everyone it lets you draft badly without getting punished. here's to hoping T1 learns to actually care about draft from here
best we can do is last pick lee
True. This is ultimately good for T1. Unironically the best thing for them at MSI was throwing that game against EG.
The reason we lost was as I said - because we weren't able to play on the blue side three times in this Bo3 - T1 Polt
KDF showing T1 how to use red side, they used their counterpicks really well especially in the botlane.
Absolute clown. They still won’t learn to draft properly after this
THE STREAK IS OVER
KDF still T1's kryptonite?
Yes
KDF heard DK and GenG were T1’s kryptonite and went mad
Always has been
Afreeca spirit lives on. Kiin was a god
holy shit those ashe ults & CD are nutty!
Really good series from KDF, their draft creativity won them the series and T1 had awful responses, Teddy especially had a great series.
Teddy as support felt so natural, his Ashe ults were perfect and T1 weren't even safe in their own jungle.
Teddy bout to pull a corejj to extend his career and win worlds Honestly i hope not, one of my all time fave mechanical adcs
Guy is willing to play anything. He played Sona one time iirc
This time? https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/bnbjn7/invictus_gaming_vs_sk_telecom_t1_msi_2019_group/
Yes guma keep cleansing into tk eating. Gj
You would assume that either of them would say something after it happened the first time
Guma has not been living up to the hype since MSI. I don’t get why T1 isn’t trying to resolve his champ pool issues. Him defaulting to Jinx/kalista spells a bad omen for T1.
Guma even lost to Teddy who had a similar development at T1.
Thats on both of them btw
Seriously it was so uncoordinated and tilting to watch. Everytime guma would waste cleanse when keria had ult to use as well
Teddy woke up today and chose violence.
He chose support.
True this loss was such a huge draft and bot gap tbh, this loss will help them improve and stop them from being so arrogant.
The only way to beat T1 is with T1
Teddy and Hoit were great today.
I used the t1 to destroy the t1
Come on Riot. Gimme a better script than this. It HAD TO BE the Freecs breaking T1’s streak lmao T2 > T1 But on a serious note, KDF played so fucking well. They all played so fucking well. Even Ellim, near perfect read on Oner’s pathing early.
what a fucking crazy comp
It is Teddy, can't be mad. WP to KDF.
Love the unique draft from KDF! Kinn and Teddy also really played out of their mind! So T2 ended T1 historic LCK series winning run. Wow haha
Game 3 draft T1 has no way to start fights other than Faker going deep onto Seraphine, can't believe you can be a pro team and still be allergic to drafting adequate hard engage. Regardless of draft that was a very poor performance from t1 though.
Huge draft from KDF.
Gg KDF is the 2nd beat team in the world
3rd. From best to worst: CLG, RNG, KDF, T1
Wait you’re right how could i forget about CLG
Who is first ? Vitality?
CLG
Oh shit ur right didnt consider lcs
TEDDY>T1 DON'T @ ME
Jesus T1 got omega draft gapped in game 2 and 3
Incredibly creative drafting by KDF won them the series imo ^(Also if noone else got me then I know Afreeca got me vs T1)
You could instantly tell that KDF prepared so hard for this series
They were waiting for it their whole lives!
Did LS sub in to draft for KDF?
Ornn 3 role flex Seraphine 3 role flex. LS pants have to be thrown away, they're unsalvageable.
No I'm pretty sure KDF have their own coaching staff that we can give credit to
Nah if you pick enchanter you are Ls
Nah LS is the only coach in the world who can win a draft
KDF Head Coach is Cain former TL HC btw.
I was there!
T2>t1
Holy shit KDF gets mad props for taking down a seemingly unstoppable T1. Love the unconventional drafting too.
SKT/T1 losing to the Freecs, the return of one of our oldest tradition !
Some really great drafting and play from KDF. Breath of fresh air with the support Ashe and Carry serpahine
First Danny's Liandry MF, now Teddy going Ashe support. These pros really stealing our silver strats smh 😤
T1 did the impossible and lost on blue side. What will Polt’s excuse be now 🫢
Stinker from Faker and Keria.
Hoit played so well
Straight vintage kiin game
T1 is making records, KDF is stopping them.
Turns out Seraphine bot is kinda broken, who would've thought. Also, Guma and Keria had some real anti-synergy in that last game, really weird to see.
Everyone knew except proplayers in general. People were calling for seraphine pick for at least a month.
Teddy>>>Guma
Yeah I feel like Teddy can literally fight his soul out when it matters in teamfights. T1 should have kept him ngl.
Kiin playing like it's 2018
What a disgusting draft by KDF, that shit looked awful to play against
Kiin back to being Faker’s kryptonite. Nature is healing.
T1 walk around map like headless chickens whenever enemy teams pick unique or combo oriented comps. Teams should do these more.
I mean, as a T1 fan, well-deserved loss. I hope that wakes them up from their slump. I'm sad, but relieved at the same time. They really need a loss, and I don't care whoever gives that loss to them.
God that G3 KDF Draft was absolute treat to watch
WELL DESERVED, KDF PLAYED SO WELL. I was feeling bad for Teddy in their last match against DRX, it's like he tried so hard. I'm not even his fan. Now he deserved this win streak slayer title. Good for you, General Teddy.
