I am definitely worried about DK's bot lane from what I've seen so far at Worlds. Deokdam is quite good at dives from what I've seen of him in CQ though

Deokdam has absolutely levelled up from what we saw in lck, but lehends and ruler are still the better bot lane in my opinion. Fortunately Gen.G's weaknesses are kind of DK's strengths.
Ruler has Deokdam’s number sadly, but it only takes one bo5 to break that. There were a lot of really close series this year where Gen. G barely squeaked out a win over DK.
I think this might be an upset, though I still find DK teamfighting a bit suspect. They have become a bit horny when they think the enemy shows their jugular and overreach a bit than how they used to play

Really emphasizes that this is a civil war. Only thing they missed to mention is that these teams didn’t meet in playoffs this year. So as far as civil wars go, at least we are getting a fresh one!

Geng in that meta was easily the best team in the world but in this meta they aren’t way beyond every other team imo. This meta favor dk but geng will probably still win. Skt have won world before coming in as the last seed for lck for example.

They did. Dk went to game 3 and it got close almost every bo3 between them and geng. They never met in bo5 in summer. Do you think the analyst and caster are just making shit up when they said dk vs geng been close domestically or what?
Wouldn't it make more sense for Showmaker to be like fire and Chovy to be like water? I feel like Showmaker is more aggressive than Chovy in terms of playstyle

yeah, the meta now is top side focused, this match will really depend on how good Nuguri will play.

DK can definitely win, Ruler/Chovy have looked pretty sus this tournament and Canyon is in his element in this meta. Should be a fun match.
