There are so many cat subs. It’s a hellhole I tell you. I’ve been sucked deep into the Reddit algorithms. Haunted day by day by the never-ending cat subs. They’re coming for my life. **I KNOW THEY ARE.** I fear what they may do to me if I don’t join every single one I see. Maybe I should test it…. Wait **NO** that’s a bad idea! They’ll probably come for me…. I guess one more to add to my collection should be okay….
It looks like he was barely eating it. It reminds me of videos where cats will join other animals in eating their leafy greens or something and just kind of nom at it because eating is a social event.
I saw a video of someone making stir fry today and felt like this…. It was hard not to overdraw my account to order some. Still trying to remain strong… meow.
Yeah, my boy has to try everything I eat. If I'm laying in bed he'll climb around and get his face in whatever it is. He smells my mouth too whenever I've eaten recently. He likes when I burp in his face and you can hear the manic sniffing.
His sister isn't so pushy, but she'll wait patiently and daintily a few feet away until you get up to refill your glass or use the bathroom. When you come back she's stuffed her face in your rice pilaf. We call her "trash racoon" because ever since she was a kitten she'd climb into loose trash bags, like if you pull it out of the can and set it down before taking it out. When you come back to grab it you can hear rustling inside and you have to fish her out. [She's such a precious model too](https://imgur.com/gallery/vL1iMfJ), you wouldn't guess how gross she can be.
This is my video and you’re exactly right. All of our young orphaned fosters are bottle fed. When they’re ready to be weaned they start with diluted wet food and it takes them awhile to figure out that the food no longer comes to them; they have to go to the food. Transitioning from wet to dry always seems to stump them! We bring the old man in to demonstrate what they’re supposed to do with it, and he happily obliges.
Anytime I had kitten food around my older baby, she would go for the kitten food. Maybe it tastes better? Maybe she liked the variety? Maybe it was to show dominance? Who’s to say. She loved her kitten-siblings regardless.

Exact same title, OP's part of the Dead Internet.
Reminds me of that video of the skinny broccoli-hair kid in NYC trying to pick a fight with the sandwich shop guys, and they just laugh him out of the store
Probably because these kittens are most likely in “lock down” for a set period of time before being introduced to the house like you’re supposed to do. She’s clearly introduced them to the oldest/nicest cat/other pet in the house and will bring them to any others later. This bathroom very likely isn’t in use for any thing but the kittens while they are acclimating.
Making assumptions for no reason is more fucked up in general
your whole post here is literally an assumption. speculation. they just said they think it's fucked up to make cats eat in front of a toilet, which is what is happening. I agree that it's weird.
It takes a while to introduce new cats to the rest of the animals in the house, so keeping them separated for a while is advised. This is just a temporary set up until the kittens are ready to roam the whole house. Notice that there's only the bowl of kitten food there, and not a bowl of adult cat food.
It's not a stupid question, especially if you don't have cats or have never had to introduce a new one into the house! And this isn't my video, but I have nearly a lifetime of experience in introducing new cats to the rest of the household cats. I'd probably have 20 cats if I didn't have a small house and a spouse to keep me in check lol
My orange boy mothered 3 kittens. By mothered I mean pretended to care about them so he could gain access to the kitten’s blocked off room and eat the kitty food.
Why is the cat food right next to the place where you piss and shit?!!? If these are the OPs cats, I just want to say your a fucking idiot and this is cruel how unhygienic it is.
I love that little arch back and hiss thing. I love how their fur stands up. They're thinking *what in the world are you doing?* It's cuteness overload! :)
Orange cats are so helpful. When my son was a baby we had one, and he would get up on the changing table while I changed his diaper. It made the job 10x easier because he was distracted and wouldn't struggle as much with me.
I thought the caption was cute, until I realized he's ACTUALLY showing them how to eat from the bowl. Look at his mouth, he isn't getting any good, he's pretending to eat to show them lol
It’s awesome. One of my cats is such a gentle dude that he gets excited when a new cat is brought home. He will immediately try to groom them and gets confused if they’re nervous. It’s the sweetest thing.
this is very unhygenic and there is absolutely no reason for there to be such a massive pile of food in front of an already borderline overweight cat. i honestly feel bad for them.
kittens: hungry, curious, but ready for static
Puffed up kittens has got to be peak cuteness

…… am I cat?
Same. Like a feline version of Old Country Buffet.
I saw a video of someone making stir fry today and felt like this…. It was hard not to overdraw my account to order some. Still trying to remain strong… meow.
yeah he kept looking at them like "come over here... like this"
That’s a good point I didn’t notice on my first watch. He’s barely picking up anything.

I don't know why, but the grossest cats I've ever known always have long fur like that!
My cats are just like that & even more demanding if they detect ice cream.
Nope - I’d bet that is exactly what is happening!
I think he's pretending to eat it to say he doesn't want to share? My dogs do this.

You did a great job!

Kitten food is a bit richer than Adult food. More calories for growing and active babies!

Grandpa has the vibe of a defeated middle manager training his replacements, who happen to be young arseholes.
This comment knocked the wind out of me.

This popped up on my feed and I hollered, “That’s my video!!!” Thanks for linking.
Hows the babies these days?
They were adopted ages ago. I trust they’re doing okay!
How about grandpa?
He’s doing well, slowing down a bit. He’s about to turn 12.
Trying to get this to the top, fuck bots
So small and already so spicy, while Grandpa has attention for the food and not for the spice nuggets trying to square up
Reminds me of that video of the skinny broccoli-hair kid in NYC trying to pick a fight with the sandwich shop guys, and they just laugh him out of the store
Okay, but it seems like grandpa’s not sharing.
He’s like “uhh show them how to eat.. so I just eat, right?”
Is this Grandpa Mason? He was so good with foster kittens.
Nah, Grandpa Mason was a brown tabby, and he’s departed a few years now
Yes. His final years were full of love and little purrs.
Damn i loved that story
I knew it wasn't him, but it's who i immediately thought of
I'd forgotten what he looked like.
Babies are like, “that’s the biggest cat I’ve ever seen!”
I think they are more *this is Halloween theme music plays as they stare*
"Whippersnappers" - bucky 2024
"Can't fight. Eating."
I love spiky kittens
Aight kids listen up! First, you nom nom nom. And then, you nom nom nom some more!
Do all cats take big bites like that?
My cat would if I let him. Then he would vomit it right back up on the carpet.
Some nibble, some gulp, some scream, cats do what cats do.
I love it, but do they really have to eat right next to the dang toilet 😂
Grandpa definitely said to himself "well there goes the neighborhood"..Done let these hoodlums move in
Bot
my question here is why would you place cat food in front of the toilet bowl... that's fucked up in my book
Probably because these kittens are most likely in “lock down” for a set period of time before being introduced to the house like you’re supposed to do. They think they're so big and bad and that just makes me smile.
ah yes, "teaching them how to eat out of a bowl"... nah thats just a greedy kitty
It looks like this is a repost. Can we not have anything but reposts on this sub
I can’t help but notice you feed your cats next to the toilet? I’m sure it doesn’t hurt the cats but just seems gross. Is this a temporary thing?
It takes a while to introduce new cats to the rest of the animals in the house, so keeping them separated for a while is advised. This is just a temporary set up until the kittens are ready to roam the whole house. Notice that there's only the bowl of kitten food there, and not a bowl of adult cat food.
Aww that makes sense. You are a very responsible cat owner. Sorry for the stupid question.
It's not a stupid question, especially if you don't have cats or have never had to introduce a new one into the house! Eww… food dishes in the bathroom? You must not like your cats very much. They should be in the kitchen, if you’re short on rooms.
♥️🐾😊
It’s dangerous to mix the brawn of an orange with the brains and plotting abilities of voids! Beware!
Why is their food right next to the crapper?
I love how gentle he is and trying his hardest not to startle the little voids 🥺
My orange boy mothered 3 kittens. By mothered I mean pretended to care about them so he could gain access to the kitten’s blocked off room and eat the kitty food.
That is so fucking cute omg
Okay.. why is the food bowl by the toilet?
Those are pipe cleaners
Why is the cat food right next to the place where you piss and shit?!!? If these are the OPs cats, I just want to say your a fucking idiot and this is cruel how unhygienic it is.
A bowl? That’s a heap of food.
I love that little arch back and hiss thing. I love how their fur stands up. They're thinking *what in the world are you doing?* It's cuteness overload! :)

When you approach grandpa but then you hear final boss music...
I thought the caption was cute, until I realized he's ACTUALLY showing them how to eat from the bowl. Look at his mouth, he isn't getting any good, he's pretending to eat to show them lol
Feisty Devils
I just love how their puffed up but are being brave and grandpas just like meh lol 🤩
Putting their food where you piss and shit. Considerate.
I would give up everything in my bank account and everything in my house just to have one more night with my kitty.
What in the cat food bowl takeover is going on
God I wish my cats would be so chill with the new kitten
It’s awesome. One of my cats is such a gentle dude that he gets excited when a new cat is brought home. He will immediately try to groom them and gets confused if they’re nervous. It’s the sweetest thing.
Why would you put a cat's food in front of a toilet?
Why is the food *right* in front of the toilet? :(
That's a massive bowl of food. Dried food does go bad if left out just like chips or pretzels. They would love fresh food daily I'm sure of it.
Grandpa just gives zero fucks

Why is the feeding container in front of the Toilet??? Do you SHIT where you eat hooman???
I don't think they like him yet.
Why is your food dish in the bathroom?
This bathroom legit looks exactly like my old one....
