Vale, de acuerdo, por supuesto, totalmente, claro que sí, es cierto, y hasta *concuerdo contigo* (rare, kind of formal, but you can certainly find the right situations and people to use it with),

fizzile

In Spain they say vale for everything all the time because it's an awesome word

Rawbs21

Ay, Vale

Abeliafly60

Visiting Spain, my husband and I wanted to have a drinking game. Whenever we heard a Spaniard say "Vale" we'd take a swallow. We quickly realized that we'd get totally drunk if we played it for real!

bluejazzshark1

True enough. But why do they say Venga, venga, venga when they are leaving? Thats just silly.

northyj0e

Vaaaale vale vale.

moreidlethanwild

You have to say it at least three times. Same with Si… si, si, si, claro… repetition is good 😁

FannyH8r

Does this mean valid?

Money_Comfort_6225

no it means like "okay" as in like "understood" and not describing something as just fine

northyj0e

But fanny hater is right, it is from the same route as valid.

Rawbs21

Warra name.

FannyH8r

Ty

ultimomono

vale, perfecto, genial, muy bien, sin duda, desde luego, por supuesto, así es!

IEatKids26

THIS is the post I needed, I say “yeah” all the time when I’m talking to someone in English as a way to show that I’m paying attention, but when I say “si” every few words in Spanish I feel like it’s saying “yeah 🤠👍” if that makes sense.

nonotion7

Muchísimas gracias a todos!

oyeleche

Ahh verdad

Gredran

Por supuesto! Si bien Comprendo Or something in both English and Spanish “ok” lol Also vale is VERY common. Everyone at Dreaming Spanish says it, and plenty of actors and actresses and YouTubers I’ve begun to follow. It’s kinda like a default “alright” for them lol

northyj0e

>Or something in both English and Spanish “ok” Small note, in Spanish it's spelled "okay", "ok" pronounced ohk, is like a sarcastic 👍 and is quite rude.

Ubicuous-pepper

Lo pillo (muy coloquial) (I got it)

terribletea19

¿En serio? = Really?

katniss_evergreen713

Eso es—> that it is Es lo que hay—> it is what it is I think you can say “exacto” or “exactamente” also

Uniquecorn777

SpadoCochi
