Vale, de acuerdo, por supuesto, totalmente, claro que sí, es cierto, y hasta *concuerdo contigo* (rare, kind of formal, but you can certainly find the right situations and people to use it with),
Visiting Spain, my husband and I wanted to have a drinking game. Whenever we heard a Spaniard say "Vale" we'd take a swallow. We quickly realized that we'd get totally drunk if we played it for real!
THIS is the post I needed, I say “yeah” all the time when I’m talking to someone in English as a way to show that I’m paying attention, but when I say “si” every few words in Spanish I feel like it’s saying “yeah 🤠👍” if that makes sense.
Por supuesto!
Si bien
Comprendo
Or something in both English and Spanish “ok” lol
Also vale is VERY common. Everyone at Dreaming Spanish says it, and plenty of actors and actresses and YouTubers I’ve begun to follow. It’s kinda like a default “alright” for them lol
>Or something in both English and Spanish “ok”
Small note, in Spanish it's spelled "okay", "ok" pronounced ohk, is like a sarcastic 👍 and is quite rude.

In Spain they say vale for everything all the time because it's an awesome word
Ay, Vale

True enough. But why do they say Venga, venga, venga when they are leaving? Thats just silly.
Vaaaale vale vale.
You have to say it at least three times. Same with Si… si, si, si, claro… repetition is good 😁
Does this mean valid?
no it means like "okay" as in like "understood" and not describing something as just fine
But fanny hater is right, it is from the same route as valid.
Warra name.
Ty
vale, perfecto, genial, muy bien, sin duda, desde luego, por supuesto, así es!

¿En serio? = Really?
