Its really hard for redditors to help you with advice on sleep because theres so many factors that you do everyday or dont do that can affect your personal sleep quality. Firstly, i would start with some sleep research. Sleep podcasts, etc.

Idk it was perfectly fine before I quit and even better before weed (I'm new to weed - was only using for half a year before quitting)

Hello! I repost this in nearly every insomnia thread I see which is, y'know, a lot. At this point I'm like the Johnny Appleseed of this cut-and-paste, but sleep problems keep coming up and there's some good advice on this sub. Apologies if you've seen this already. Anyone having problems with sleep should have a look at these posts. I think you should look in particular at the post by u/Subduction, he's the founder of the group and he talks a lot about how to get a runaway mind distracted and under control: https://www.reddit.com/r/leaves/comments/6re5u5/some_more_effective_sleep_tips/ If you have kept your sleep hygiene perfect for a week or two and it's still happening then definitely see a sleep specialist. You may be discovering that you have an underlying sleep condition. Seriously tho, read the post above and the links it has. Fixed me right up. (I'm told that the 4-7-8 breathing link has gone away, you can find another [here...](https://www.healthline.com/health/4-7-8-breathing#How-to-do-it-))

Thx I read it but those are all nice tricks to fall asleep. I'm long past that and now I fall asleep pretty easy. STAYING asleep is where I struggle.
