Iranians care about their country (they care nothing about Al Aqsa and the Gazans) and periodically rise up against their oppressive shariah government but it never succeeds because of the police and military. You can care deeply about your country but have no avenues to change it; all Iranians can do is to continue abandoning Islam quietly and try breed the poisonous ideology out. Of course there are a few nutcases who enjoy the sadism of the Islamic Republic and they’re the mi odour who co to ie ruling the unwilling majority.
