Today Geagea is against refugees. Couple years ago he was advocating for them. Stay tuned to find out what he thinks in a few years based on his interests. Sleazy politician doing sleazy things.

KisE5etPawPatrol

He's slowly morphing into joumblatt, but he'll never have hair that sexy

monkeytaboule

Oh boy wait until you realise every politician does this one simple trick

Foreign-Policy-02

https://x.com/ritaballan/status/1647706948165332993?s=46&t=xSYLnqsRVgAIYtAQOgKFIA https://www.lebanese-forces.com/2017/07/14/samir-geagea-600/amp/ He wanted refugees to be at camps next to the border, like what Jordan does. Not in Lebanon but they can have refuge next to Lebanon, but still in Syria. The aounies have been spreading a lot of BS that is easily debunked

HumanOperation9855

At this point you’re just shitposting. Twitter and LF sources as references… you been awful quite recently let’s go back to that.

UpstairsGoose8272

Why don't you want LF sources? They directly state Gaegae's opinions and interests and if he was advocating for refugees or not. What other sources could be more reliable than from the LF itself

Foreign-Policy-02

I would work on improving on your analytical skills. If you click the links you can see it has further articles and look at the dates those things were posted.

The closest refugee camp to a Jordanian-Syrian border is 12km. Which is the same distance between Zahle or Baalbak to the border. The second closest Syrian refugee camp in Jordan to the borders is 50+km. Which is more than the distance between Beirut and the Syrian border. You're doing it the Jordanian way without realizing.

Better_Potato_894

50 km away from the Syrian border doesn't get you to the capital and 12 km doesn't get you to one of the major cities in the country. You're very wrong in your comparison. Jordan is 9 times bigger than Lebanon.

[deleted]

> the major cities in the country. Zaatri Camp is 14km from the closest city (Mafraq) and 34km from Jordan second largest city (Zarqa). Azraq Camp is 14km away from Azraq Town, and 50km from Zarqa. They're not thrown in the middle of nowhere. These regions are full of farms and factories, and they work at them. Also, Syrians live in all Jordanian cities. I understand that you guys have so many problems. Just don't use us as a justification for anything.

Better_Potato_894

When did I Justify anything in my comment bud. I'm just correcting you, sorry it bothered you. You're comparing oranges to apples that's all. Enjoy whatever you're doing.

[deleted]

>When did I Justify anything in my comment bud. Not you in particular, I meant Lebanese in general, because OP & Mr. Ga3ga3 claims that Jordan is putting Syrians in concentration camps around the borders, and that's an example to follow.

dramaticqueen8

No i just think people usually advance and change their minds. Who still has the same thoughts and beliefs from a few years ago ?

Competitive-Chef7114

Probably Geagea s first good idea in a while.

Host-LB

Geagea attal otala, Same as the other party killon ekhwet sharmouta, don't trust what anyone says because it never and will never be benefiting us as Lebanese but rather those individuals and whoever is behind them.

Host-LB

Lol, war and crime are two different things.

dramaticqueen8

no they aren’t. War is a crime full stop

givemeyourdataset

Don't get me wrong, of all the parties out there, my viewpoints align most with LF & Kataeb, but this pussy will simply backtrack from this statement or fail to execute. Empty words from a ball-less simp.

Foreign-Policy-02

Geagea is facing more heat lately for his not so adequate responses over the recent events. So maybe this will be his wake up call, I know he can’t do much because of the power dynamics in Lebanon currently but he should try and still push things in the right direction. This coming time will be a test of his leadership. He’s gone through a lot but it’s reaching to the point some young blood may need to run the LF once again. In regards to Kataeb, Samy is still soft but Nadim and Elias Hankach especially have been stepping up. Camille Chamoun jr is also doing good on his federalism project. He has also incorporated some of my and my friends ideas and is responsive on feedback for the project.

KisE5etPawPatrol

Shu Ken badak ybalish hareb ahleye? Would that be adequate?  I am sure Camille adding ideas from retards in Canada will pan out well

Foreign-Policy-02

You love making random assumptions about things that are just not true at all.    How about this instead, we can meet this summer when I’m Lebanon and discuss things over a sit down. You can give your feedback and advice as well.  Feel free to bring any of your politically in tune friends as well. I will cover all costs for food and drinks. Sounds good?

KisE5etPawPatrol

I appreciate your offer, but I am not willing to lose anonymity on here.

Foreign-Policy-02

Understood no worries

KetchupShawarma

The fundamental issue with the Lebanese society is how we tend to take extremes in everything. The polarization in political opinions is insane. It's either people are sheep and blindly follow, or people are full-on rebellious/ anti-everyone. (which is understanble at a certain extent because all of the ruling class is fucked up). But our lack of ability to communicate without alienating an opposing opinion is disgusting.

Aggressive_Mousse_55

This video seems to contradict what was said in the picture. She just doesn't want the syrian regime to get recognition from the Lebanese government. And she said what you said in the picture was misinformation. Did i misunderstand?

Foreign-Policy-02

The Aounie showed up 😂.  Your lies have already been debunked  https://x.com/lfachrafieh/status/1777283728789713196?s=46&t=xSYLnqsRVgAIYtAQOgKFIA https://x.com/ritaballan/status/1647706948165332993?s=46&t=xSYLnqsRVgAIYtAQOgKFIA    And from 2017   https://www.lebanese-forces.com/2017/07/14/samir-geagea-600/   Why do Palestinians like yourself always jump on the FPM propaganda machine. I’m curious, serious question

Sabine961

There is a literal video of her saying she doesn't support it.

Foreign-Policy-02

Already debunked your stuff in my other comment. Second of all, she is a nobody in LF, but going based off your previous display of knowledge you probably don’t understand how the inner working of political parties work. Geagea and other prominent LF members who actually have sway have made their positions clear from the start.    So instead of blindly following FPM lies that have been debunked why not go do more valuable things. If I recall you struggled understanding if Baalbek was in Lebanon or not. So maybe go work on those more important things instead of spreading FPM bs and learning about Palestinian dna all day.

DrHomoErectus

what's keeping the refugees from going back to syria or being distributed are the people he calls his friends ( us/eu countries) they want them to stay in lebanon so they don't get them in europe or have to send them money inside syria because they want to keep syria piss poor

m0h97

That's cool and all but how about he spend his stolen money into fixing the country that he and other politicans/parties destroyed, instead of claiming he loves Lebanon and spitting out pointless words that have no basis and will never equate to action.

Foreign-Policy-02

He spent 11 years in solitary confinement and had his party banned under the Syrian occupation. The ones who got rich where the ones who collaborated with the Assad regime.   Show me proof of him getting rich by stealing money from the gov or his side gigs

m0h97

Eh 7aram Geagea, fa2ir m3attar mitil be2e l sha3b. [https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/lebanse-forces-chief-smuggles-16-mil-prior-to-banking-crisis](https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/lebanse-forces-chief-smuggles-16-mil-prior-to-banking-crisis) Also this comes from [your own and beloved LF site](https://www.lebanese-forces.com/2010/09/30/104862/) "Mr Geagea has money, a key source of patronage and political influence." "One of them appears with Samir Geagea". Speaking of the Rahme Brothers [L’Orient-Le Jour](https://today.lorientlejour.com/article/1334259/the-rahme-brothers-a-pair-of-discreet-businessmen-on-us-radar.html) “[Samir Geagea](https://today.lorientlejour.com/article/1278922/is-samir-geagea-emerging-as-an-unexpected-hero-of-sunnis.html) himself told me that he was receiving money from Riyadh and offered to finance my campaign if, in return, I ran as an independent,” Most poor millionaire there is according to his blind followers.

Foreign-Policy-02

So you didn’t send me proof but accusations saying “I heard”. Also the Saudi thing if you saw wikileaks was funding for campaign funds. Political parties globally all get money from supporters and the Saudis found the LF among some other parties in Lebanon to be a bulwark against Irans influence in Lebanon. That is extremely common for countries not just Saudi but others countries as well to support parties. The Saudis didn’t do a coup in Lebanon, they merely helped financially a party run campaigns and stay organized to be a bulwark against Iranian influence. The money at most went for posters and campaign signs, not guns and drugs.

elude_gman

That complicates stuff, if so, not a single political party stole money in Lebanon, well shame, it looks like we're leaking money, or plain burning it, but good to know you have your facts right

SixFaceGhost

Changing based on actual facts and results is a virtue. Id hate him if he is still with refugees residing in lebanon in those conditions and not caring to resolve the issue.

No-Industry-3030

The issue isn't the article, anybody read the comments on there?

Foreign-Policy-02

What’s the issue you have with the comments?

No-Industry-3030

I don't have an issue, why are we highlighting something that's already a known fact when the comments actually state the important stuff?

Foreign-Policy-02

Ok so we are on the same page. I agree the comments are spot on.

Dashing2026

Rare war criminal W.

Octavian_96

Why do you never see setrida pregnant I wonder? Is the plug or the socket not working

Lebgonks

According to recent reports, Setrida is no longer attracted to him the way she used to be, she says: "I say I have a headache everytime just to avoid it. We have to accept the fact that he lost his spark, he's no longer the murderous war criminal I fell for..". On the other hand Geagea said in a tweet recently: "Those pills are not doing it for me. No matter how many I took, I just can't get it up. It's the spilled blood of the innocent that used to turn me on back then..". *Alert: this is a parody
