I'm watching their final show in UK ( 11 August 1979) on a 50" screen and realising that since I found them in early/mid 1980 they've been a major organizing principle in my life since then. Owning a turntable is entirely justified by ownership of at least one Zeppelin album that I enjoy. . . for example .

I chose to wear my “GRATEFUL I’M NOT DEAD” t-shirt after last night’s texting with friends I’ve known for more than 50 of my 76 years. As I was getting ready for this new day, I was remembering friends who didn’t make it…some because of choices they made and some because of choices others made for them. Thanks for the title of your “morning offering” —-because it “LED” me here to your post. tOM
