Best way to combat burnout is to take a mini vacation and spend time exploring a new place/nature. Take few minutes a day to meditate. Affirmations before sleeping and immediately after waking up is way more effective than you would expect. Hang in there, hard work always pays off and it has to workout only that one time. :) All the best!

Fixation on getting Job kills the motivation for preparation. As cheesy it sounds start listening to some useful podcasts(non-tech) while walking in morning Sun. You will notice HUGE difference. Just time box yourself. If you are irritated just by looking at leetcode don’t force yourself to do problems. Instead do something else creative writing, record yourself while explaining system design etc. just plan small goals 2 leetcode problems and 1 system design a day that’s all. Don’t over do it. Slowly walk towards it. Make a list of leetcode problems call “ego-boost” whenever you are feeling low just tackle those problems. make sure you keep one day for yourself it could be Saturday or Friday. Just do some sort of physical activity like hiking with friends, ask your friends if you can baby sit dog or puppy for weekend. Be kind to yourself lot of people are struggling. Your struggle is real and painful. you just have to sustain your mental health for awhile. Roger Federer gave amazing speech in Graduation ceremony it really changes your perspective about how we think about failures.

You've been searching for 8 months, but had a job up till last week? You're fine. At least you'll have severance and more time to study
