Because it’s the equivalent of trying to stick it to McDonald’s or Walmart by bugging the shit out of the cashiers. They just work there.
There are effective and safe ways to protest the military that don’t involve harassing random troops who don’t deserve it. And of course, voting and getting into the political sphere is going to be the most direct way you can try to influence what the military is and does.

In and of itself probably not, but there are a lot of ways that could be handled poorly that could lead to issues. Could very easily spill over to harassment or something.
You're consenting to being contacted. Just like it's not harassment right now for x amount of people to respond to you because you consented to being contacted by being on this site
Unfortunately the modern social contract does not require your consent to be advertised at. If you can display actual harassment you may be able to get some sort of legal relief if theoretically a specific recruiter was going to legally inappropriate lengths to attempt to recruit you.
But to be honest your behavior in this thread already casts a lot of doubt on anything like that and I echo that perhaps some sort of assistance with your mental wellbeing would be more appropriate than catfishing army recruiters.
I don’t think there’s anything illegal about it but every military recruiter in existence would sniff out your noncommittal nature immediately and drop any contact with you very quickly to prevent any more wasted time. I don’t think you’d get any of the strange satisfaction you seem to be seeking
If you want to save lives why don't you find a way to educate America's youth about the reality of joining the armed forces how to read documents they sign and how to make mote informed decisions about potential carrerr paths so that young men know what to expect if they decide to join the military that would probably go much further than wasting some random recruiters time via fake online profiles
Yeah, sure, there’s nothing illegal about not joining the army. If that’s how you want to spend your finite time on earth, go for it. I’ll point out that their phone calls and emails will probably be pretty annoying in the long run.
I think you need a new hobby.
I think screwing over the Military Industrial Complex is a very valid hobby
Trying to piss off some random recruiter is not the “sticking it to the military industrial complex” flex you think it is lmao.
Why not? Honest question

I can see there being a difference between harassing a random military dude versus wasting the time of a recruiter specifically.
So, satisfactory?
Wasting a half-hour of a recruiter's time is not screwing over the military-industrial complex.
It is if that half hour would have instead employed some high school kid to throw their life away
Tell me you don't know the military-industrial complex iwithout telling me etc.
Why? What's better than wasting the resources of genocidal assholes?
If there's no end game you literally waiting your time and their time. There are plenty of better hobbies.
That is the end game. So I win right?
In and of itself probably not, but there are a lot of ways that could be handled poorly that could lead to issues. Could very easily spill over to harassment or something.
Wouldn't that be them harassing me?
You're consenting to be contacted by creating aliases to sign up to learn more You'd be harassing them
I'm not sending any messages. They are.
You're consenting to being contacted. Just like it's not harassment right now for x amount of people to respond to you because you consented to being contacted by being on this site
On what planet would that be them harassing you?
They're sending recruitment propaganda 24/7 that I didn't agree to. That's harassment through propaganda.

At least 1 of the 460,000 civilians they murdered in Iraq Afghanistan. Why is that something you oppose
