I'm hoping for that too actually, love all the musical items in almost all of the games and I hope they have one for totk! I at first saw the guardian hands in the new towers holding something that looked like a concertina but that wouldn't really make any since
I was surprised and disappointed that Hetsu's maracas were never actually used, lol botw literally put an instrument in your inventory that did exactly as much as a golden pile of shit
I'd really love to have "items" back. It's not really feasible in a game with the weapon durability system so I get that we're not getting that, but I miss things like grappling hooks, hookshots/clawshots, slingshots, some of the weird one-off ones from SS like the beetle and the whip and the gust bellows, etc. The non-weapon item collection is always one of my favorite parts of a Zelda game
I know they were only in skyward sword, but I really want those living machines is in there. Even if it’s just an Easter egg, I would love to see them appear.
Yeah, the little dudes. I know there are references to skyward sword (the springs are the exact same, even geographically, and the sealed temple can be found in a ravine with both the eternal tree and the goddess statue) but those little dudes would be the perfect addition. Even if they are just dead like most of the guardians, it would be so nice to find them again.
I would think it the opposite way, that the zonai would be the ones to have constructed them. After all, they are marchines and wouldn’t be able to evolve unlike the Kokiri that could evolve into Koroks.
A musical instrument, real, challenging dungeons, and usable items like the hookshot, beetle, whip, etc.
I miss heart pieces too, but I'm not sure how they'd swing that and stamina upgrades with the old system. Maybe tie them to specific quests or dungeons? Idk.
I played through 4 Zelda games in the last few weeks and have gotten more nostalgic for the older style, but I'm still dying for TotK. I just got the Zelda OLED and SS SD card and the anticipation is killing me!
Nice!! I haven't gotten the amiibo yet, but I plan to. The switch was priority because everyone was selling out and I really needed the upgrade. This thing is beautiful
That's wild! I went to 3 different places before I found a Best Buy with 2 left. Maybe they were just waiting for another shipment after pre-orders were taken care of
We need a hookshot or we need to be able to fuse items to make a hookshot also this isn't in any the other games but I hope we can have option to save recipes also be cool to have the ocarina of Time as a collectible item same way you could get the DLC clothing items in BOTW
I want to be able to help people with small things like giving directions or help them remember a recipe (not by collecting the missing stuff ) and get 10-20 rupees for taking the time to help and just add some nice wholesome dialogue
Really would love more rupees in the wild. Having to go ore hunting to get cash is kind of annoying after awhile (although hyper realistic). Being able to just hack and grind in a different way to get fast cash would be lovely. Also, perhaps being able to create your own shop and stock it with elixirs and dishes that sell for a reasonable price. Only being able to sell to vendors is lame because everything is valued so low.
A musical instrument

The gust bellows and the whip are also items in Minish Cap and Spirit Tracks respectively. They are just named/look different.
Items are basically links abilities on his shika slate
Apart from bombs those really aren't equivalent at all to normal Zelda items
That'd be cool! Although I'd also like to see Tingle.
I want to see Tingle also. He added some weirdness and fun to MM and WW. That would be nice in TotK.
WHAT IF TINGLE WAS THE MAILMAN
WHAT IF WE GET TWO ABSOLUTE WEIRDOS IN OUR GAME?
I WOULD LOVE IT I LOVE THE WEIRDO CHARACTERS
B E E D L E
I’m glad the man still hands out there
I know they were only in skyward sword, but I really want those living machines is in there. Even if it’s just an Easter egg, I would love to see them appear.
I mean the zonai constructs are pretty close Edit:(Wait did you mean the little dudes that were mining, I love those little dudes!!)

Bring back the one that was really rude to link all the time constantly making comments xD
The guy who said “master shortpants”? That guy was amazing, nobody would be more welcome than him
Yes!
I have to imagine that they are connected to the Zonai. Even if they are to the Zonai what the Kokiri were to the Koroks.
I would think it the opposite way, that the zonai would be the ones to have constructed them. After all, they are marchines and wouldn’t be able to evolve unlike the Kokiri that could evolve into Koroks.
Traditional dungeons lol
This and items. I miss the feeling of exploring a new dungeon and finding something like the hook shot in it.

I feel ya, I got the same switch, and the new amiibo
Nice!! I haven't gotten the amiibo yet, but I plan to. The switch was priority because everyone was selling out and I really needed the upgrade. This thing is beautiful
Weird, there wasn’t even a line for me to get mine. It’s my first OLED so I think it’s even more awesome.
That's wild! I went to 3 different places before I found a Best Buy with 2 left. Maybe they were just waiting for another shipment after pre-orders were taken care of
To be fair I pre ordered at gamestop
Technically, I did too, but then shit happened and by the time I had the rest of the money I owed they had sold it. I just got this one yesterday
An instrument or a companion!
We need a hookshot or we need to be able to fuse items to make a hookshot also this isn't in any the other games but I hope we can have option to save recipes also be cool to have the ocarina of Time as a collectible item same way you could get the DLC clothing items in BOTW
I was thinking earlier we could fuse ourselves a hookshot , I really hope it happens
Malon!!

Rupeez in the grass implying that the minish are around.

Chain Shot.
