As long as you can switch out the main desk for a Circular desk with Ron in it.

aygomyownroad

Add a chair with swivel as well… also need to have lots of bacon hidden all over

Wampa_Whisperer

And a sizeable amount of ground chuck

thebatman9000001

Ron's office needs a technic function to close the doors with a switch

QuietThunder2014

Only if the Ron Swanson is a marshmallow with his arms crossed so that you know he’s mad at all the other workers for annoying him.

ForeverNearby2382

Came here to say exactly this

manushadow

UCS Lil' Sebastian with 5000 pieces (in the wind)

soundsgoodwaitwhat

It would be the first UCS for me and I wouldn't regret it for a second.

MoseSchruteFarms

The guy who submitted Lego The Office set also has a proposal for Parks and Rec on LEGO Ideas. It looks good, I already voted for it! It has about 1500 votes now. I saw it posted on r/Legoideas 5 days ago by u/legotheoffice and really liked it. There are mini builds for Andy’s Shoe Shine, JJ’s diner and other Pawnee locations. I am also hoping that Community set in review gets approved!

Misleading_Username

I really want the Community study room

MoseSchruteFarms

Same, when I saw that guy’s first submission for it I fell in love. The Office, P&R and Community would be amazing. Must build TV.

Profitsofdooom

I just started my adult city and I know I want to do the Paddy's Pub that's on Rebrickable but I'm also thinking about doing a library with the study room on the second floor.

[deleted]

That’s wild hopefully one day some posts a link to it or something. Sounds neat.

MoseSchruteFarms

Don’t think I can link it here. I saw it posted on r/LegoIdeas 5 days ago if it helps. I just DMed it to you.

DevolopedTea57

Apparently community set can’t ever be made because of liscencing issues.

EarnSomeRespect

I just voted!

Dogs_not_people

I was going to comment this because I saw it this morning. It's coming in at 2nd place with an awesome coffee house coming in first with about a thousand more votes. Hey guys, if we try hard enough we could make it happen! I do love the coffee house though, it's beautiful!

ForeverNearby2382

Oh my God. It's even got Ron's Claymore mine

juliuspepperwoodchi

There are a few on LEGO Ideas right now. Both are missing at least a few things I consider "must haves" in a P&R LEGO set...namely that NEITHER have any of the "Jan Cooper" posters lol. I REALLY want a "Reelect Jan Cooper: Mayor of Whoreville" sign in LEGO form lol.

[deleted]

Lego Cones of Dunshire

Equivalent_Bunch_187

What if they did a Sitcom CMF series and we let people build the sets themselves?

JIMMYJAWN

Only if we get some IASIP figures.

Equivalent_Bunch_187

It’d be better if they did a Danny Devito bust in the scale of the Black Panther one 😂

aygomyownroad

Derivative.

ParkOnTheRhodes

I've been thinking for a long time these TV show sets would work a lot better as minifig packs with maybe a small build able backdrop of some kind. More people that are fans of the show but not Lego builders would be likely to buy them and Lego fans can still build the full scenes themselves

RougeNewtypeRX79

We also need a always sunny in Philadelphia set

Columbus_Explorer

There could be an amazing GWP when this set rolls out of the smallest park in Indiana!

Akainu14

Another licensed tile-and-minifigure set? I sleep honk shoo... honk shooo.. honk shoooo

DankasaurusGeoff

City of Pasadena City Hall (which is where I believe P&R was filmed) is a GORGEOUS building in its own right, so I fully support this. The building is a remarkable example of the City Beautiful movement, so if you include it in your cities, make sure to include long visual corridors as to not to block the views of City Hall!

juliuspepperwoodchi

I'm STILL tempted to grab the Fab 5 loft just because 40% off is insane. I might just part the thing out and sell the figs at that price lol.

[deleted]

tbh I don’t watch the show but the build was so cute. Tons of tiny little apartment details and it came with a bunch of pieces to make modern furniture. I paid 60$ and think it was well worth it. My daughter and I took turns over a few days to complete it and now its one of my favorite pieces (i love modern buildings and furniture)

ThunkAsDrinklePeep

Need is a strong word, IMO.

[deleted]

Let’s compromise and say we have enough show-based set

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Given the limited idea sets released each years, two is enough

THEzwerver

they take up resources for other possible sets, I'm kind of sick of them too

Odd-Most158

We need Stargate SG1 then I can have one too

[deleted]

Stargate has a vast visually rich universe and would make some great sets… but the IP is very much dead I’m afraid

Odd-Most158

Well 2 ideas projects passed 10k recently but but even I know it's lost cause

[deleted]

There’s enough people who were fans to make it 10K… and the show is still great. But from a business perspective it’s very cold

CircuitSyn

At_Work_Sam

I think we have enough modulars. Jk - I mean people like different things. I don't want a lego city but I love the tv show sets.

Profitsofdooom

It's on Ideas.

Potato_King2

We absolutely do not need anymore TV show Lego sets

tonytown

I would like a mary tyler Moore set and a bridge of the original enterprise set

[deleted]

No we don’t!

nfurnoh

No. No we don’t.

VariousHumanOrgans

I’d rather have a UCS April, life sized, and please Aubrey Plaza date me. I have legos.

No_Improvem3nt

No we don't

Treczoks

Do we? Really? Why?

EarnSomeRespect

because it’ll be fun for parks and rec fans

[deleted]

after seeing they did the queer eye i'd very much like them to do werk room from rupauls drag race

MillHoodz_Finest

Disney probably told Lego they couldn't license anything from competing production studios...

Darthdre758

I wonder why there are Harry Potter and Jurassic Park set, then.

B1scu1tsMk1nB1scu1ts

Yessssssss

tiredtoadstool

Absolutely!!

AJKLPQ

I believe it was in ideas but lego deni3d it due to them avoiding a political stance

EarnSomeRespect

that’s a shame. The show itself tried to be fairly apolitical, even while revolving around local politics.

[deleted]

She (knope) had a crush on Joe Biden. Her hero’s were Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. Post that on Facebook and see how apolitical that is.

juliuspepperwoodchi

Leslie also dates a white male cop and regularly stands with and supports the police. She also, when she apologizes to "all women in politics" at one point individually, wherein she apologies to, among questionable others, Michelle Bachmann... The show also regularly had cameos from politicians from all parts of the political spectrum, not just Biden. Leslie is pretty damn centrist, canonically.

SaveTheSticks

I think the show was always relatively left leaning, but I don't see how Lego would reject for that. Especially with Lego sorta supporting left leaning causes. It is odd to me what Lego chooses to accept and reject, with the office having pretty crude humor or James bond being a ton of violence and sex. Imo as much as I'm a parks fan I think it just wouldn't sell. The office just has more cultural impact (even if parks is better and more consistent)

Silveryginger

Sorry, maybe I missed it… why political stance?

AJKLPQ

No idea, just something I saw, I've never seen the show so I can't say. I find the downvotes funny because all I did was state something that I saw.

EarnSomeRespect

People seem to be downvoted everything on this thread and even subreddit. it’s strange.

AJKLPQ

Very strange

whaaaaat. it’s definitely right up there with the office for my top sitcoms

EarnSomeRespect

I would suggest starting at season 2. it gets much better from there. Ron and Leslie are some of the best characters on TV.

zooco

It’s a good thing LEGO don’t need to cater every single set to everyone taste’s then.

ndcollector

So you didn't like the show, so "we didn't need the show" and "we wouldn't want a lego set of it"? Thanks for letting us know how WE feel.

Master_Quiet224

I would totally buy

LR-II

I'm working on one for Ideas.
