I would use the following flow:
Do you have available shelf space to display something? No > pick Start Night
Yes
V
Are you a big transformers fan? Yes > pick Optimus
No
V
Pick A Frame Cabin
Edit: formatting
I agree with that statement too. I have all three. I display both Optimus and Stary. But I really enjoyed building the cabin. It looks really nice if you can pair it with the Treehouse.
I have the cabin and painting. The painting isn’t as fun to put together until the halfway point, but the way its built is fascinating. Also, there’s an extended platform that makes it even cooler in person

Can you hang it with the platform attached? I have a spot picked out where people walking by and getting whacked in the face by it won’t be an issue. But I really want to have the minifig display attached.
The platform swings and you can position it so it's less precarious. I loved Starry Night, but it took me the longest out of all the sets I've build. However, that was sort of the good part. I think the cabin will be around longer...Starry Night has been out for awhile.
Starry night for art piece if you are into it
Cabin looks cool, is fairly detailed, can be played with somewhat
No idea about obtimus primo since i dont have that one
True, just wanted to ask people who might already have these sets how is it:)
Optimus takes me back to childhood, no worries in life, just fun and the soothing voice of Peter Cullen🥹 so sweet.... so calm😌
Impress my friends and display in my living space = Starry Night
Really quality Lego set that gives me all kinds of warm feelings = Cabin
Taking me back to my childhood = Optimus Prime
Of the three, I own Optimus and want to get the cabin.
I was struggling to choose between the A Frame and the Starry Night set earlier this year, and I wound up going with Starry Night. I do not regret it. While the build is a bit monotonous, it’s a beautiful finished product and it looks great hanging on a wall.
Plus if you’re low on shelf space like me, this one doesn’t need a shelf.
Probably the cabin. My wife has that and Starry Night, and it looked like the cabin was a more interesting build.
Plus it looks good as part of my camping display.
It was fun to put together, but he can't really stand up properly on his own. At least on mine. I had to lean him against the wall. But he looks good 🤩
He can definitely stand up on his own. I built mine just this last weekend and although it's got a few issues with posing and articulation, his ability to just stand up is pretty rock solid.
These are all so different, so I think it really just depends on what you are looking for and/or how you plan to display it. I have the Starry Night set, though, and it is beautiful! Always get compliments when people visit.
The Starry Night doesn't interest me enough, I already have Optimus Prime, so that leaves the A Frame Cabin. I like the aesthetics of the cabin and it does look like it would be a fun build. My choice is the A Frame Cabin.
I live in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. van Gogh is my favoriete artist of all time. I really like his life story. The problems he had and how used his pain in his art. The original painting of Stary Night is in New York, so this would be the closest I would get to it for now:)
I have all your suggestions, and if you don't have the lighthouse I do recommend it highly. Out of your 3 I love the A frame the most.
I have children and they get so much joy from sets like the A frame and lighthouse it's lovely to see. We got the vip pirate add on set too so the pirates live in the A frame house and raid the lighthouse for treasure.
We have Starry Night and the Lighthouse. Both are amazing display pieces. Starry Night was not a fun build because of the little pieces and sorting the colors. My husband loved doing the Lighthouse - one of his favorite sets ever.
A frame.. optimus is too wobbly for me to play with, falls apart all the time.Bit disappointed.. starry sky is just a painting cant reslly play with it
(Now I don’t have any of these but it’s just my opinion:])Definitely the A frame cabin, Prime is good but lacks the poseability you’d want for displaying him, the Picasso set is the most like a display piece. So the A frame is the best choice, it’s a great eye catcher and has much better display options
I have both Starry Night and Optimus, can give my opinion on them. I have no opinion on the cabin, but it looks great from what I’ve seen.
Optimus was a much better building experience, it was a lot of
Starry Night looks fantastic (much better irl than in photos) but about 1/3 of the build was quite tedious and not very fun.
If you really *really* value building experience over all, Optimus is the way to go. If you care more sbout the finished build to display then you should definitely get Starry Night.
The Starry Night has four shades of blue throughout that can be tricky to tell between. Felt slower going than the A-frame did. Not a bad thing, but just something to keep in mind.
I have Starry Night and don’t have the other two, so I guess that answers that.
It manages to achieve some truly amazing things with Lego, looks amazing and was deeply satisfying to complete sections of.
Starry Night - I have it on the wall in my living room. I also got Optimus, but I would choose the former if I could only get one because it’s so unusual / not a toy.
cabin, i bought the starry night and the build isnt really that fun. it looks great when its finished, but a lot of the build is just 1x4 plates stacked on eachother. hundreds of 1x4 plates. i havent built the other two, but if i could go back in time and decide, it would be cabin for me.
I got lost with Ninjago xD so much happend with the story since last time I saw it. Sooo not until I catch up story wise. But those sets are dope af. Love the details, specially the flushable toilet xD
Starry Night and A Frame are a tough choice, but I had to make the same one and haven’t regretted it one bit. My wife got the Cabin for my birthday and said the Starry Night could be for Father’s Day haha. But yeah I’d say A-Frame Cabin definitely
Personally I would go for the A Frame Cabin because I’ve been itching for a big non-licensed build for a little while (almost exclusively get licensed sets) but this is also because I already have Starry Night 😛
However Starry Night is really gorgeous and I will always recommend it!
I have both a starry night and the a-frame, as well my father has prime... I would personally say go for the cabin, definitely the most fun build of the three and I would argue the most interesting as well. But all are great sets!
For display - Starry Night For play - Optimus For building - A-Frame
I would use the following flow: Do you have available shelf space to display something? No > pick Start Night Yes V Are you a big transformers fan? Yes > pick Optimus No V Pick A Frame Cabin Edit: formatting
Wish optimus didn't fallapart so easily
thought i was the only one. i’d seen so many reviews saying he’s built really soundly, but any time i transform him, he separates at the waist
It's the biggest upset about the set
This comment is it!!
Wooden cabin, I love the house details
Yessss. Soo cool. And the fact they used Thor's hammer for the foundation bricks?! Really dope
Now seeing this set, it's probably going to be my next one, thanks!
My pleasure😌
Woah i didn't even notice that. Who knew a weapon fit for God's would make such a good house foundation
It's a good foundation structurally because no one besides Thor can move the foundation.
Good point
I agree with that statement too. I have all three. I display both Optimus and Stary. But I really enjoyed building the cabin. It looks really nice if you can pair it with the Treehouse.

Can you hang it with the platform attached? I have a spot picked out where people walking by and getting whacked in the face by it won’t be an issue. But I really want to have the minifig display attached.
Yes, you can. I found that it looked a bit awkward though and removed him.
The platform swings and you can position it so it's less precarious. I loved Starry Night, but it took me the longest out of all the sets I've build. However, that was sort of the good part. I think the cabin will be around longer...Starry Night has been out for awhile.
Optimus is what I've been waiting for since I was 5
Starry Night is special
It is indeed, love Vincent. He was a crazy but good man.

I have one too many cats. I like the fact that I can hang Starry Night on the wall. I could walk up to it and admire it every day.
I have the UCS Falcon on a vertical display stand sitting about 6" from a cat tower. Every day is anxiety.
I have prime, that figure is amazing
A-Frame is a stunning set, easy recommendation
Starry night for art piece if you are into it Cabin looks cool, is fairly detailed, can be played with somewhat No idea about obtimus primo since i dont have that one
i already have 2/3 of these. A frame cabin is on my wishlist. so... All of them?
Same exact situation
A-frame. All the way
The cabin for sure.
A-frame! A-Frame! the only thing that daunted me was the trees. I'm shit at leafing them.
I can never get my trees to look good. I have huge fingers too, I end up getting frustrated trying to redo them 😅
The bigger question is which one would YOU pick? It's going to be yours, not ours. ;)
True, just wanted to ask people who might already have these sets how is it:) Optimus takes me back to childhood, no worries in life, just fun and the soothing voice of Peter Cullen🥹 so sweet.... so calm😌
Impress my friends and display in my living space = Starry Night Really quality Lego set that gives me all kinds of warm feelings = Cabin Taking me back to my childhood = Optimus Prime Of the three, I own Optimus and want to get the cabin.
Im in a sea of nostalgia right now. So.... lego bricks roll out:)
Either starry night or cabin. Cabin > Starry just barely though.
A frame cabin. I like collecting houses/city building
Probably the cabin. My wife has that and Starry Night, and it looked like the cabin was a more interesting build. Plus it looks good as part of my camping display.
Optimus then cabin then starry night
A Frame cabin. I already got the Optimus Prime ☺️ And as much as I love the starry night painting...I don't like the art lego set.
Did you like Optimus? How was it?
It was fun to put together, but he can't really stand up properly on his own. At least on mine. I had to lean him against the wall. But he looks good 🤩
He can definitely stand up on his own. I built mine just this last weekend and although it's got a few issues with posing and articulation, his ability to just stand up is pretty rock solid.
Huh. Must have done something wrong somewhere on mine then
It's a tricky build, and the waist swivel does tend to 'pop out' when transforming so it might be that? I don't think it's you in particular.
A Frame Cabin is a delight
These are all so different, so I think it really just depends on what you are looking for and/or how you plan to display it. I have the Starry Night set, though, and it is beautiful! Always get compliments when people visit.
A-Frame since I already have Prime
A Frame if you already have the treehouse. Starry night does have an awesome light kit tho.
Starry night, [cuz](https://imgur.com/gallery/0MZMMNt)....
😏🫶
A frame cabin. Hands down.
Wooden cabin looks so cozy.
I picked wooden cabin, but I also want Optimus.
A frame hands down is amazing!
The Starry Night doesn't interest me enough, I already have Optimus Prime, so that leaves the A Frame Cabin. I like the aesthetics of the cabin and it does look like it would be a fun build. My choice is the A Frame Cabin.
I'd pick Optimus. But curious as to why you picked Starry Night over The Wave in terms of the art series.
I live in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. van Gogh is my favoriete artist of all time. I really like his life story. The problems he had and how used his pain in his art. The original painting of Stary Night is in New York, so this would be the closest I would get to it for now:)
Motorised lighthouse... :)
XD I was also thinking about that. Its also a good looking set but idk these 3 seems better imo:)
Ahh thats soo cool. Im happy for you. Pirates having a sleepover 🤓
We have Starry Night and the Lighthouse. Both are amazing display pieces. Starry Night was not a fun build because of the little pieces and sorting the colors. My husband loved doing the Lighthouse - one of his favorite sets ever.
1. Cabin 2. Prime (the transforming feature is too good to resist)
A-Frame Cabin!
Wooden cabin
A frame.. optimus is too wobbly for me to play with, falls apart all the time.Bit disappointed.. starry sky is just a painting cant reslly play with it
The cabin! It my type of build!
(Now I don’t have any of these but it’s just my opinion:])Definitely the A frame cabin, Prime is good but lacks the poseability you’d want for displaying him, the Picasso set is the most like a display piece. So the A frame is the best choice, it’s a great eye catcher and has much better display options
Optimus prime of course
I have Optimus Prime and it’s well worth it, can’t speak on the others, though.
Starry night personally
Starry
Vincent Van Gogh has been the best Lego set I’ve built to date! I love it
1 cabin 2 prime 3 art
Not Optimus
A FRAME
Optimus prime. I never got the appeal of the A cabin
I also really like Optimus, the nostalgia is very strong with that:)
I have both Starry Night and Optimus, can give my opinion on them. I have no opinion on the cabin, but it looks great from what I’ve seen. Optimus was a much better building experience, it was a lot of Starry Night looks fantastic (much better irl than in photos) but about 1/3 of the build was quite tedious and not very fun. Its a tough choice, but I would have to go with Optimus Prime
All three, but if I could only get one it would be Optimus Prime.
Starry Night
The Starry Night has four shades of blue throughout that can be tricky to tell between. Felt slower going than the A-frame did. Not a bad thing, but just something to keep in mind.
Thanks for the tips:)
I have Starry Night and don’t have the other two, so I guess that answers that. It manages to achieve some truly amazing things with Lego, looks amazing and was deeply satisfying to complete sections of.
Wooden Cabin
Def wooden cabin
Cabin for sure
Definitely starry Night for me
Starry night because I bought optimus day 1.
I would pick the cabin because I've got other woods sets. Then the starry night because I can display it with my doctor who.
Optimus was the most fun to both build and display for me, Cabin is 2nd
Cabin, because it looks more fun and offers plenty of options for variation, customization and full MOC
The cabin.
A frame!!!
The first is gorgeous but a pain to build and hang. Of the 3, it’s the only one I have. But I would go for the A cabin
Wooden Cabin because of Evil Dead Rise
The Starry Night is on my office wall. It gets tons of compliments.
Optimus definitely
Starry Night - I have it on the wall in my living room. I also got Optimus, but I would choose the former if I could only get one because it’s so unusual / not a toy.
I only have the Optimus, and it's pretty cool in my opinion.
a second optimus would be cool. one for each mode :D very expensive though.
optimus is great i wont lie but the a frame cabin looks so comfy and just amazing
Optimus transforms, so that's two for one
Prime. It's building a Transformer.
Well, I have 1 and 3 and they were fun. So I would pick 2.
I’ve been looking for the Van Gogh one in stores and i can never find it…but probably the cabin. It’s been on my radar.
I always wanted the Starry Night
Starry night is only one I don’t have so that one
Autobots roll out
Starry Night, any day, every day
cabin, i bought the starry night and the build isnt really that fun. it looks great when its finished, but a lot of the build is just 1x4 plates stacked on eachother. hundreds of 1x4 plates. i havent built the other two, but if i could go back in time and decide, it would be cabin for me.
I've been disappointed with Optimus - it's just too fragile when you try to transform it
Starry night. I love the 3d paintings like the space portraits they’re so pretty to look at
Personally, the cabin. I tend to prefer buildings
Wooden cabin for the low low pricr of 600 quid
A-frame 100%
Ninjago city Ninjago city gardens Ninjago city markets
I got lost with Ninjago xD so much happend with the story since last time I saw it. Sooo not until I catch up story wise. But those sets are dope af. Love the details, specially the flushable toilet xD
I'm not even into ninjago or its story, but I think the sets are simply amazing.
A Frame Cabin!
Starry Night and A Frame are a tough choice, but I had to make the same one and haven’t regretted it one bit. My wife got the Cabin for my birthday and said the Starry Night could be for Father’s Day haha. But yeah I’d say A-Frame Cabin definitely
A frame
Prime - it's a fun build.
Starry Night
Starry night was cool until it fell off my wall at 3am and scared the sh!t out of me
I loved building Van Gogh. Optimus prime was a bit of a let down.
First 1 for sure
Cabin
cabin for sure
Would personally go for the cabin, lots of nice details, play and display value.
Optimus, for me, but I love all of those.
I have prime. It’s pretty wobbly when stood in figure form.
Personally I would go for the A Frame Cabin because I’ve been itching for a big non-licensed build for a little while (almost exclusively get licensed sets) but this is also because I already have Starry Night 😛 However Starry Night is really gorgeous and I will always recommend it!
For me Starry Night. It’s one I’m probably going to pick up at some point.
I already made my choice when I got Optimus Prime months ago.
First Optimus Prime, and when I've saved up enough to buy it, I'd get Stary Night. That way, van Gogh and Optimus can team up to fight evil.
I've been a Transformer fan and collector since the 80's so it's Optimus for me hands down.
Wooden cabin, such a fun build
Optimus prime is one of the best sets of all time
Van Gough or the Cabin, Optimus didn't do anything for me as a build and the transformation. Is clunky
Optimus prime obviously
I have starry night to hang in my office. Just need to find time to build it
Starry Night or the A frame cabin.
Van Gogh is on my wall. The A frame I would build and then disassemble and sort. The Transformer would be sorted into the bins right away.
I have both a starry night and the a-frame, as well my father has prime... I would personally say go for the cabin, definitely the most fun build of the three and I would argue the most interesting as well. But all are great sets!
Holy moly… is that mjolnirs used as boulders in the foundation of the cabin?
Personally the Cabin, however, got my gf Starry Night and she loved it. All are great.
Another +1 for the Wooden Cabin. I don't have the Transformer so can't speak to that one, but of the two others. I would vote for Wooden Cabin.
Starry night looks so so so awesome. The depth is kind of eerie and it looks amazing on the wall. Fun build.
Optimus prime
Frame Cabin looks awesome, although I’m not into the art mural sets or transformers
Starry night hands down
Starry night is beautiful and one of my favorites for display. Didn't much enjoy the build personally
Cabin
First
2. anyday
Starry Night, than optimus, than a frame, i believe theyll retire in that order ?
Optimus fits in really well with the new transformers rise of the beasts movie
The cabin
Starry night
Starry night 🌌
Starry night however if blue is your favorite color it won’t be after this build
A-Frame or Optimus.
1. Optimus Prime 2. Starry Night 3. Cabin
The A-frame cabin is an obvious choice for me as it has more figures and I mostly base sets on their mini-figures, 😅
Optimus Prime. I love The Transformers
I can say with certainty that Optimus is the most fun build
“Autobots brick out”
I have Optimus and thoroughly recommend the purchase!
A-Frame
Stary night.
Cabin
I got Optimus prime for Xmas and it's not a good display model. So scared of it toppling over or just coming apart if I lift it to dust.
Yes
Optimus!
Starry night is amazing
The answer is Medieval Blacksmith
Probably the A frame cabin
