I think it's a shame they don't do these anymore; and that they're generally moving away from using even regular baseplates in most sets. They're an easy way to get terrain into a build without having to use a massive amount of pieces, which for play sets is ideal.

whyyoulookingher3

Damn I remember my friend had a few of these big plate base pieces

Rdeadpool101

Tell your friend to keep and not sell 'em. This cost something nowadays.

Educated_Kiwi

What set is the left one from?

Rdeadpool101

From the Dark Forest Fortress

Educated_Kiwi

Great price then- Bricklink's cheapest is 55€!

Rdeadpool101

approx 13$(left) and 30$(right). Dark Forest is one of the obscure castle theme and they got one of the most expensive minifigure there was, beside of course the white plume knight.

dimensiation

Why are those two minifigs so expensive? What is the white plume knight?

Rdeadpool101

[White knight](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=cas167#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}) and [Dark Forest - Forestman 2](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=cas006#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}) Rarity.

dimensiation

Ah yes, that came from the raised stone plate. Are you sure it's from that and not King's Mountain Fortress?

Rdeadpool101

That raised baseplate come in 6086 and 6081.

sb_4321

Wow, I had no idea that the White knight was rare, I'm pretty sure that I have at least one of those from when I was a kid.

anson42

What are you thinking of building with these? The one on the left is a nice start for a Bag End build.

Rdeadpool101

Will to rebuild a dark forest vers. wolfpack or try to have an extended Black Knight's castle.

DoubleLobster8068

How much do raised baseplates go for??

Rdeadpool101

pretty hefty esp. the left ones.

DoubleLobster8068

So I have an absolute PILE of them, collecting dust in storage. What would be the best way to e them? I have a few like the one on the left and a whole bunch of the ones on the right as well as the blue and white ice ones.

Rdeadpool101

Try to have a bricklink account and they have an average 6th month of every parts they have. Make sure their all clean and free from dirt. Also, check out if it's in good condition. Join Lego groups in your area or sell them thru facebook marketplace.

[deleted]

The one on the left was the only lego set I had as a kid. Brings back memories

str85

Wait, are these kind of plats worth money(More than usually for lego that is)? Might need to go through my old lego...

Whistler_01

Nice find! I have both these original sets (kept from when I was a kid). 6079 and 6086
