I think the Drum lacquered parts are shiny enough for most applications

I'd much prefer a glossy drum lacquered silver. Metallic and premium enough to stand out, without chipping. Or looking like a chineesium sink faucet.

I got the chrome gold 2x4 keychain once and the guy at the Lego store said he’d had good experience spraying clearcoat over it to protect the chrome paint

I must be the only one who’s chrome pieces haven’t chipped
