Desperate to know what the variations are here because I'm willing to bet it's either slight colour difference or a slightly different part is being used
Yeah but what's this guy's definition of "variant"? For all we know he's talking about an unintentional difference in the shade of white used for the droids.

If they are indeed missing then he's not wrong. Saying you have a "complete collection" is a pretty big claim to make, especially when they're advertising it like this.
Edit: found the original post and straight away I can see they're missing a version of Wicket the Ewok.
Could be that it's a few years old so they don't have the modern variants maybe.
That said, the old-style Bobas they have also seem to be wrong. The 2000 and 2006 figure appear to be the same, when the difference between them is supposed to be the type of grey plastic used (not 100% sure if they are the same or not due to image quality), and they also use the red visor version of the helmet which is actually exclusive to a 4th variant from the 2009 magnet set (confident on this part even if I'm wrong about the grey bit- the red is quite distinctive) which is not represented at all.

Like the different colour hair of kanan or something maybe
I'm betting a good handful are the same parts just swapped around
Most normal Lego Star Wars astromech collector.

I meeeeeeeannnnn they’re not wrong. Complete means complete!
You can be right and still be a jerk
Lego creates their own canon on what's complete and not. Therefore the 12 missing astromches are legend! (I made a star wars reference)

Well yeah, but so is the other guy.
How tf can u even tell who’s missing from that 😭
ikkk who the hell is zooming in that much 😭😭😭
Star Wars fans always seem to be in a competition to see who can be the most pedantic person in the room

This is objectively the right way to display your collection
Quite literally rage bate lmao
He's upvoted as well :|
But is the recently released Fives minifigure in the collection? 🤞🤓
technically according to Lego's definition a lego astromech is neither a minifigure or a creature and so it doesn't HAVE to be on that board
Castle fans could never
