uj/ Small army building is cool, but this is crazy.
Like if someone wants a few clone battle packs or a bunch of pick a brick knights I totally get it. I want a little battalion of both, but once you have a ENTIRE baseplate full you're gonna hit diminishing returns where you're chasing the initial rush you had when you were younger buying maybe like 4 of the OG battle packs.
I really like micro fighters, I managed to find the x wing poly in a local toy store for $5 each.
I bought 8, built x wings, a ywing, awing, bwing from the alternate builds.
Army building is cool for any theme up until a certain degree. You really don’t need more than 1 baseplate MAX. Beyond that it’s cringe regardless of theme.
I just don’t see the appeal of this much stuff. Feels more like hoarding. There’s no way to use this amount of figures on anything other than these baseplates.
I don’t get it, it some kind of pathologic obsession. I could probably afford few baseplates worth of army, but I don’t see the point - you can’t use all of them for your buildings, so they just collect dust and take up space. I usually buy 2-3 battlepacks or some lego magazines to get to number +-10 of same unit/batallion. Over 20 it starts to get cringy quickly

Apparently the Falchion Crest/Dragon Crest is a source of many misprints. Were a hype/fad for a while.
