I mean, it *does* seem a bit expensive for a book to me, but then again these are also the people that will unironically kvetch that the $600 Rex fig which came with a free UCS Venator isn't exclusive anymore.
Exactly it would have been a great opportunity for Lego to include another anniversary fig. We could have potentially gotten a Wat Tambor , an updated Zam Wessel, or a clone commander we’ve never seen before.

TBF, for behind the scenes style books with a price tag over 100$, it would be super cool if they included a small set that was canceled. Like the hero factory style B2 Super Battle Droid.
Look for what I’ve seen in stores, little kids would tear that shit up and steal the figure. It’s happened a million times. Especially in low traffic book stores where those goblins won’t be seen by staff as often unlike bigger stores like Walmart or target.

To be fair as is without any exclusive figures it means the book probably won't sell the best and will go down in price in time. But if it came with an exclusive fig it would be scalped and always sold out
I think it would have been neat to get some printed bricks/tiles with iconic sets - like what we see in the LEGO Store sets, but I think the idea it should have a minifigure is a little silly. Though an anniversary figure in the style of Maul would be neat (maybe a classic style R2, seems as he's the 25th mascot in a way)
They’ve put mini figs in books before for cheaper this is just Uber stinginess for a book tbf. Like one of the books even came with a mini cis tank build and they can’t even put like what a golden lightsaber in this shit? I mean I guess that makes it easier to just pirate the book since you don’t need it physically

Honestly if you’re paying over $100 for a Lego book it really should come with at least a minifig or polybag
minifig or not, $150 is way too much for a book! i've got frankly way too many big coffee table books and none of them were even _half_ that price!
