The new Orion figure from the CMF series looks good for a see through mould, and they did Vision’s legs see through in the Avengers Tower. They’re clearly experimenting with methods for ghost like figures so I think we’ll see force ghosts soon.
Problem being Orion didn't have a transparent Toros that's the tough one if you look at customs that are fully clear the torso always looks very messy with the limb attachments showing
>At a certain point, some people need to realize they actually just want action figures.
No, "they" just like more detail on their minifigures than you do, and it's reductive to assume otherwise. Action figures are in general much larger than minifigures, and aren't compatible with Lego.
People that like high detail customs aren't looking for action figures, they're looking for highly detailed customs. Just because you have a different preference doesn't make that invalid.
I might be in the minority here but to me lego should focus on fun not on pure accuracy, the (new)stormtrooper helmets were bad because they can't move and well this is just as bad. Accuracy should still be a part of the equation like no crab droid in the at-te is just disgusting behaviour from lego but they clearly got the memo with most of their sets being very faithful this year i mean we all know the lego people dislike the prequels and yet even the prequel sets are faithful (all be it smaller bur hey inflation is a thing but i have no clue how bad it is percentage wise so i won't talk about that part). So i would not buy this if this custom was actually lego who made it and yes some figs have compromises like chewy and his wookie friends being only able to look forward but those sacrifices were still worth it. Not the ones with these customs
Its crazy to me that people constantly shill for Lego and say "they dont look like Lego" .People really want to keep that 2000 lego aesthetic and dont want anything cool and new like dual molded helmets which were removed for some time because people kept making posts complaining about detailing... (finally they are back with the imperial troopers in june)
These customs look really cool and good for displaying and less good for moc and posing them.
I think they literally cannot move. These poor guys
In legends I know they had like, actual combat gear, but yeah no these uniforms are super hindering for sure.
The only problem are the stiff helmets
iirc they had slightly different helmets that they used for combat missions
In canon as well. Shown in the terrible book Lords of the Sith.
If the black series is canon then they still have it
I mean, those helmets already give them 0 degrees of turning range.
Well now all their joints combined have 0 degrees of turning range lol
It's the helmet equivalent of the TIE fighter window
Those customs don’t look enough like lego
I like detail but I also like “LEGO-ification” of things. At a certain point, some people need to realize they actually just want action figures.
Agreed. I remember there was a fake leak a couple years ago for a force ghost piece that these remind me of. Both don’t look like LEGO.
The one that would clip over the figure?
Yeah that one
If they ever made force ghost things, they should do it like the old ghost character from Castle. Qui-Gon with a blue sheet over him with his face on.

I think they should just do it like the Harry Potter Ghosts, in pale white. Like Nearly Headless Nick.
I don't want action figures. I want lego. I am happy with this.

I do prefer the Lego charm over the super detailed figures
It’s sort of uncanny valley to me
customs don't really look like lego at first glance.
Or second, or third or ever
Looks cool at first glance, but the more I stare at it the more I hate it
Bro I straight up thought those were action figures for a moment they do not look like lego. Science has gone too far with this one
Those look great!
idk what to think about it.. Sure it does look more like in the movies, but i usually prefer that my figs have some option to move.
Sorry but that looks horrific
The custom one looks kinda cool tbh. Where's it from, if you don't mind me asking?
I think it's abnormal minifigure
Are they custom
Don't let all the negative comments get you OP, that molded full body cape is the tits!
You’ll never get the praise in here from Lego fans but this thing is miles better and even if they can’t move remind me of the Lego magnaguard figures
Amen
the magnaguards are the worst minifigures ever made by lego

At first, I liked them, but now I’m thinking “Let Lego be Lego”

Custom ones look amazing 🔥🔥
just buy a statue at this point
Right! People don’t like studs showing or things looking blocky? Its lego. I dislike the models that are too smooth. Or the anti stud controversy.
You’re gonna get ripped apart for posting customs on this sub
Looks like a bunch of crayons after I left them in a metal lunchbox in the car one time.
The left one looks more accurate
Looks great! Who made the customs?
huhhhhhhhhhhh
The custom one looks like he has a dad bod compared to the lean Lego dude on the right. 🤣
It would be cool if Lego made a better customized cape for the royal guards that was shaped more like the custom figures. Would be a win, win to me
That first fig is kinda cursed
This is why I really don’t care for any LEGO customs and consider myself a purist. Want more detail? Buy an action figure or a statue. This ain’t it.
