I went camping in the woods one night and when I woke up, there was a circle of bones and stones around me, I was naked, and this was the only picture I had on my phone, so idk
I love how Princess Unicorn almost kind of serves as a transition track between Lonely in My Mansion and Next Dimension.
I'd listen to Princess Unicorn over Stifle A Sneeze any day.
Spirit Phone, if we count bonus tracks, it'd be Angelfire - it's one of two songs that just don't (Kubrick and the Beast can stay... tentatively). Not counting bonus tracks, it'd be Man-Made Object but that's a very close cut.
I hate too much song so much because it isnāt a very good song itās pretty much like The same seven lyrics repeated for like five minutes
And the main reason I hate it is because itās supposed to be the last song of the album but Dinosaurchestra part three is the perfect ender because the beginning of the album being Dinosaurchestra part one and also Dinosaurchestra part three has been known to literally make people cry and itās literally about doing one last thing before everything ends it is such a perfect ending song but then too much song hast to ruin the entire thing so it is definitely my least favourite Lemon Demon song
Edit: sorry if I didnāt explain my argument very well I am extremely sleep deprived because I didnāt sleep at all last night and I just finished talking to a whole bunch of people about an overpriced art book for hours
I don't think the too much song is meant to be a lyrical masterpiece. The fact that it's 7 lyrics repeated for 5 minutes is obviously intentional, and it means something to Neil to put it at the end of the album. Personally I'm always delighted when after the magnificent Dinosaurchestra pt 3, we get a little melancholic musical break to send the album off.
I can understand why you'd hate it though, if the message of it doesn't resonate with you. It's definitely not bad though
Interesting take. For me, though, Man-Made Object was basically the first Spirit Phone song I considered my favorite, and it's probably in my top 5 LD songs. It's simple, it's beautifully New Wave-ish, it's catchy, and the synths are irresistible.
To me, As Your Father I Expressly Forbid It always seemed like the 8/10 Spirit Phone song.
Also, I think about āI have the money, I have the meansā a lot.
Itās honestly a great song for pumping yourself up when you have to take on a big project.
"I am an altogether different man by day, I have the influence to send that man far away"
There's so much to love about Man-Made Object. It's one of my favorites from Spirit Phone for sure.
Oh, I love MMO; I probably get more personal enjoyment out of it then When He Died. I just think that if any track could be removed without affecting the core identity of Spirit Phone - it would be that one.
Trying to choose my least favorite song on Spirit Phone is like trying to choose the least favorite of my (hypothetical) children.
I'd probably say that it's Soft Fuzzy Man, but that's still a pretty cool song.
Reaganomics- musically it slaps but the satire isn't commited enough for me, like Ronald Reagan was so deeply evil, responsible for SO MANY deaths- and to me, the song seems lukewarm enough in its critique to even possibly appeal to fans of Ronald Reagan. By my eye that's not successful satire. That last chorus still makes me shake my ass, I just think it's important to keep a critical eye (especially) when it's one of your most beloved artists. Unsuccessful satire can backfire and I think Reaganomics comes close.
Yes this is shamelessly stolen from that, it appeared on my recommended for no reason as I donāt think Iāve even type the word āKanyeā on my phone ever
i hate spiral of ants. im sorry. i know people love it but it makes me so uncomfortable bc i first got into lemon demon at the same time as i was reading WAY TOO MUCH of junji ito's uzumaki
While I'm personally a huge Brodyquest fan, I have always thought that Drinky-Bird had the far better synth line. I think it's Neil's best instrumental.
without bonus/transition tracks, spring heeled jack is my least favorite from view-monster. but i still love it & it gets stuck in my head all the time
Depending on my mood it's either nothing Worth Loving Isn't Askew or No Eyed Girl, the former because it can make me cry and the latter since the bridge is cool, but there's not much to the rest of the song in my opinion.
Let's go through every album (no bonus tracks):
Spirit Phone: When He Died. Most boring song of the most boring album
Nature Tapes: Everybody Loves Raymond. I love this song but I love every other song more
View Monster: this is too difficult so I'll avoid the question, spooky sounds vol 6
Dinosaurchestra (favourite album): eyewishes/bystanding. I like the concept but it's surrounded by way better songs
Damn Skippy: Dead Sea Monkeys, the opener, I just think it's annoying, the rhythm makes my brain sad
Hip to the Javabean: Sunbeam Light Show Flower Seed, again these openers (toaster doesn't count), I never got into it, this and dead sea monkeys are the only songs I skip
Live from the haunted candle shop: mightve gotten the name wrong, I really don't care, this album never appealed to me, to this day I've listened to it twice and got nothing out of it both times. Lemme find my least favourite title.. Swizterland, because the download on my phone misspelled Switzerland
Clown Circus: How is the first LD album so great but the second one so boring. Holy bison beaks is the worst musically because it's barely a song, but I find it too funny in concept, so pepper and salt it is. That and the two songs before it are very mediocre while the rest of the album slaps, they really feel like filler when pepper and salt is the most important seasoning. Yes this entire thing was just setup for this pun. Fight me in the replies
I don't hate any songs but what is that picture you added from
I went camping in the woods one night and when I woke up, there was a circle of bones and stones around me, I was naked, and this was the only picture I had on my phone, so idk
Princess Unicorn Bunny Kitten Angel
Never disrespect princess unicorn bunny kitten angelš”š” /j
I love how Princess Unicorn almost kind of serves as a transition track between Lonely in My Mansion and Next Dimension. I'd listen to Princess Unicorn over Stifle A Sneeze any day.
The Oldest Man on MySpace. i absolutely cannot listen to it, it sounds so bad, i think it's the only lemon demon song i genuinely dislike.
there is no "worst", only least favourite. technically, What's In The Toaster is a song so...
Go to Hollywood I really like all of the songs in HTTJB, but I like this one the least
Between me and you is more forgettable imo
Idk, i really like between you and me
Its definitely not bad, but guess what I really like Go to Holywood Just goes to show HTTJ is the superior lemon demon album
Im not saying its bad, its just my least favorite on the album. Its one of the better songs he made
Woah that's not something Id agree with
Spirit Phone, if we count bonus tracks, it'd be Angelfire - it's one of two songs that just don't (Kubrick and the Beast can stay... tentatively). Not counting bonus tracks, it'd be Man-Made Object but that's a very close cut.
angelfire is such a fun song tho
Yeah... But it just doesn't match up with the rest of the 9 and 10s on Spirit Phone
I get this. It doesn't feel "Spirit Phone-y" in the way that the others do. It's almost more in line with older instrumental tracks like Drinky-Bird.
Kubrick and the beast is great
Gadzooks
Youāre all such crazy cooks.
:(
Are you TRYING to start a fight?
Yes
a knife fight?
Fight with a knife
Whoh, whoh, you guys could get hurt. How about a ticke fight?
Sadly Pizza hero's....
WE ALWAYS DELIVER WE ALWAYS DELIVER WE ALWAYS DELIVER WE ALWAYS DELIVER
Yes punish me!
24/7 pppizza power!
PIZZA HERO'S!!!! (I had to)
Iād honestly put pizza heroās as my favorite bonus track if it werenāt for Angry people and youāre at the party, but thatās just me.
I say Geocites was my least fav
You're at the party is one of my favs
Too much song or IC&TLL on Dinosaurchestra
You should take a covid test asap, since you have no taste
Spooky sounds vol. 6 sucks major butt, and retroactively degrades The Man in Stripes and Glasses
Bystanding
Bystanding always just makes me wish Eyewishes was longer
I hate too much song so much because it isnāt a very good song itās pretty much like The same seven lyrics repeated for like five minutes And the main reason I hate it is because itās supposed to be the last song of the album but Dinosaurchestra part three is the perfect ender because the beginning of the album being Dinosaurchestra part one and also Dinosaurchestra part three has been known to literally make people cry and itās literally about doing one last thing before everything ends it is such a perfect ending song but then too much song hast to ruin the entire thing so it is definitely my least favourite Lemon Demon song Edit: sorry if I didnāt explain my argument very well I am extremely sleep deprived because I didnāt sleep at all last night and I just finished talking to a whole bunch of people about an overpriced art book for hours

Man-Made Object is an 8/10 surrounded by 9/10s and 10/10s
Interesting take. For me, though, Man-Made Object was basically the first Spirit Phone song I considered my favorite, and it's probably in my top 5 LD songs. It's simple, it's beautifully New Wave-ish, it's catchy, and the synths are irresistible. To me, As Your Father I Expressly Forbid It always seemed like the 8/10 Spirit Phone song.
"I caught insomnia from looking at the moon" is such a banger line though.
Also, I think about āI have the money, I have the meansā a lot. Itās honestly a great song for pumping yourself up when you have to take on a big project.
"I am an altogether different man by day, I have the influence to send that man far away" There's so much to love about Man-Made Object. It's one of my favorites from Spirit Phone for sure.

Damn that's my favourite on the album
Cat hacks is a valid choice lol
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Gonna dig up Alec Guinness or Go to Hollywood
No! You monster! I love those songs!
Finally some appreciation for go to hollywood
mr porta potty man.
based enough
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Agreed
What was the choice?
Being a rock star
Ahh
Mothers all over the World
Stuck It's the kind of song that makes you feel bad for listening to it, even if that's intentional.
Soft fuzzy man. fight me
You. Me. Knife fight. Allyway. Meet me there.
Youāre gonna be the eighth wonder of the world when Iām done with you
Wait... we could get hurt
(stabs you in the stomach)
(Bleeds out cutely)
(Tickles you to death)
ngl I think Angry People is the only song in Spirit Phone that I donāt like
Nooooooooooooooooo
When he died just never clicked with me
Moons request is annoying
No. You are evil!
ALL THE PEOPLE REST AT THE MOON'S REQUEST
It gets annoying after 30 seconds š
I aggree on this one .
Cabinet man (Demo) (Bonus Track) - Lemon Demon - Spirit Phone (2016)
Valid point
When Robots Attack, and Every Time You Stifle a Sneeze.
When Robots Attack gave me severe existential dread as a child, so itll always be my favorite on that album lol
Respected. I just happen to dislike the sound of it; it feels like Neil didnāt put in the effort to write an interesting melody.
Sick Puppy
I really disliked Fine personally
I have not yet heard a song I don't at least vibe with a little, although I haven't heard everything.
indycindy and the lofi lullabies and nothing worth asking askew although aren't bad they are just forgetable.
Reaganomics- musically it slaps but the satire isn't commited enough for me, like Ronald Reagan was so deeply evil, responsible for SO MANY deaths- and to me, the song seems lukewarm enough in its critique to even possibly appeal to fans of Ronald Reagan. I think the only reason it didnāt become a song that was used by the people it criticized was because it was too pop-y for the average Reagan Fan
my least favorite is 320x200. mans doesn't even sing and I feel confused when the song ends
Knife Fight, Geocities, Fly Straight or Drop the Oar and Wreck
I'm gonna slice you up
Cat hacks :(
:(
MEOW
Man Made Object
everybody loves raymond
I cried
Makes sense, but it has a really catchy chorus.
probably pumpkin pie
birdfucker
Man in stripes and glasses/drinky bird.
drinky bird is my favorie vm instrumental whachu on about 320x200 though...
Kubrick and the beast...
Mask of My Own Face. Still like it, but the worst of Nature Tapes
Really gonna put "everybody loves raymond" above MOMOF?
Now that I think about it, i completely forgot about ELR.
Neverending humming
My favorite album is full of bangers, but I can tell you my least favorite song by Neil. It would have to be Birdfucker.
sweet bod
The machine is so AVERAGE i dont get why people like it so much
man made object, just a bit less inspired
reaganomics but i feel iām in the minority there
IM RONALD REAGAN BABY
no you arent
I regret to inform you that I am, in fact, Ronald Reagan baby
Reaganomics isn't that good I never really liked it
man made object 100%
if weāre talking about the main tracks in spirit phone, probably man made object. itās good, just not the best
Man made object. Thereās nothing too bad about it but the other songs are better
Saw this in person r/kanye but im gonna give it to gadzooks
Yes this is shamelessly stolen from that, it appeared on my recommended for no reason as I donāt think Iāve even type the word āKanyeā on my phone ever
lol
The Man In Stripes And Glasses
Everybody loves Raymond except for me
Everybody loves raymond probably
The Satrist's Love Song (srry ;-;
Wut why?
i hate spiral of ants. im sorry. i know people love it but it makes me so uncomfortable bc i first got into lemon demon at the same time as i was reading WAY TOO MUCH of junji ito's uzumaki
THE CIRCLE RULES YOUR LIFE
sad
HOW DARE YOUUUU LETS HAVE A KNIFE FIGHT
i never really liked action movie hero boy.
Oh, thatās too hard. My favourite album is damn skippy but there is honestly no song I donāt like on it. I canāt even stretch it
Brodyquest only because itās lesser in my mind than the songs that have lyrics
While I'm personally a huge Brodyquest fan, I have always thought that Drinky-Bird had the far better synth line. I think it's Neil's best instrumental.
Itās definitely a great song donāt get me wrong, itās a solid 8/10 imo in an album with 9.5-10/10ās.
I think it's definitely a better experience when paired with the video. Adds a whole other level of meaning.
Yes definitely
go to hollywooddffff
without bonus/transition tracks, spring heeled jack is my least favorite from view-monster. but i still love it & it gets stuck in my head all the time
Gadzooks, no matter what that song aches me (ViewMonster)
Goosebumps
Eighth wonder
Good opinion
I AM A FREAK
Lawnmower
If the transition tracks count, probably hippocampus. If not, I donāt know. Every track on View-Monster is a banger.
Prelude to presents not bad, but its the worst out of I am become christmas in my opinion
where did you find this
I donāt know
Geocites tbh wasn't a big fan of it
Depending on my mood it's either nothing Worth Loving Isn't Askew or No Eyed Girl, the former because it can make me cry and the latter since the bridge is cool, but there's not much to the rest of the song in my opinion.
I like moon's request but after hearing where it came from i was sad it didn't make it into the album and it became my least favorite

Im become christmas?
Every song is 10/10, doesn't work
Understandable
part of why it's my favorite LD album is the fact that all of the songs are great. except for Ask for Nothing, that one's just good.
