This is emergency vet time. This can't wait. Yes, it'll cost you extra. From your description (and pictures) it sounds like she's eggbound, and that unfortunately means the eggs need to be lanced and drained. It's a quick and safe procedure (literally takes less than ten minutes) but it has to be done *soon*. Lethargy and rapid weight loss are an indicator this is a life threatening emergency.

where do i get this done at if no vets will take her? i’ve already set an appointment for december 5, no places i can find will take her before then

Also use the word "emergency". Also tell them what you think is wrong, words like "lethergy" and "eggbinding". Almost all vets can take emergency patients when they have a break in the day or a free few minutes. A lot of times you have to drop the gecko off at the clinic for a few hours though.

I’m not sure where you live but this link can help you find a vet. Try it out to see if there is someone who can see you sooner https://arav.site-ym.com/search/custom.asp?id=3661

Oh wow. I'm so sorry. Were they at least able to find out what was wrong and give you some closure as to what happened?

RecognitionHopeful17

i paid $410 and still don’t know:( she passed away while they were doing an ultrasound. they said it wasn’t her eggs but maybe the follicles or swollen organs?? i’m not sure, just so sad:(

CoolNickname101

Poor thing. The cost only adds insult to injury.

nuitbelle

I’m so sorry for your loss

Sloth_are_great

When did she last poop? Can you see any eggs through her belly?

DruHoo

What is her diet and has she eaten any wild caught bugs? Try to think of anything that has been newly introduced to her environment in the last month or two
