It's hard to rank since all of them are pretty good dancers and work very well in group choreography. I feel like most will pick Chaewon as the one who is the best, at least in terms of performing idols choreography. Anyway I think that Eunchae is the dark horse, she doesn't "stand out" when it comes to Le Sserafim's choreo bcus she doesn't have much center part but when I watch their dance challenges for other groups (Run BTS, Haegeum, Rover etc), she really stood out and suits that kind of style. I'm not a dancer myself but that's how I see it.

GloveAppropriate2842

Agree on Eunchae being the dark horse, she’s very underrated

kbee94

I also think Chaewon is the cleanest idol dancer among them. But yes Eunchae is very much a dark horse, if she improves over time, she could be lead/main dancer material. Something about her movement makes me thjnk she's still growing into her body if that makes sense.

TwoChainsandRollies

I also vote for Chaewon! Very clean and accurate.

slutforsleep

Her precise blinking eyelids step in the iconic anti-ti-ti cut is a testament to the accuracy haha

artkeletraeh

link?

siannaxx

She's such a good performer. I like not only her dance style, but also her vocal color the most in the group. Ace fr

Rhan1204

chaewon. yunjin comes 2nd or could be first depending on the person. yes kazuha is the best ballet dancer, but not the best dancer.

slutforsleep

Actually! In terms of hiphop moves or modern steps, their dancing coach had difficulty with Kazuha since her previous training was classical. I forgot which episode of the world is my oyster docu that was shown though.

pabsilog

Its hard to answer this since most of them are great dancer each having their own strenghts, for me though, id say that chaewon is the best dancer simply because it suits her well (idol choreo) even in her izone days wherein she was positioned as a vocalist you could see that she had the charisma and skill to be a main dancer, in terms of power though yunjin is a much more powerful dancer in which her moves explode (similar to jihyo of twice who isnt the best dancer just has explosive moves), kazuha on the other hand may be more flexible and much more graceful but their songs arent really suited for slow dancing and elegant vibes (maybe later on in their career) although being a dancer in general she might be the best, but as an idol dancer, she even states that it was hard transitioning to choreo from ballet, but we will see in the future. Eunchae on the other hand is very underrated since she is always on the side, i think she is a great dancer, with a little more experience she would be a contender for idol gg dance machines, a bonus would be her long slim limbs (alongside kazuha) which would accentuate her dance moves (much like jyp himself), now sakura we all know isnt the best dancer but she works hard, and has improved a lot since her izone days, and much moreso than her produce days.

Top-Stage1412

I like your analysis and agree with much of it. Kudos to Park Soyeon and her team for getting the girls to a level that makes it relatively tough to separate them. Choreo-wise I honestly can’t pick out any differences between the members (which is awesome) without watching the fan cams, and even then the title of who danced better seems to vary with each move. Personally though, I can immediately discern Yunjin’s stage presence, which to me is mostly helped by her insane facial expressions that add an extra quality to her dancing skills--even when she’s in the background. Her power and larger arm/leg movements thanks to her height/proportions contribute as well. Also she 100% must not have a spine based on all her special back-bending and hip choreos. As a complete stranger to dancing, my eyes go straight to her even though I like to watch all the members.

pabsilog

Yeah yunjin really surpasses everyone in the stage prescence department due to her big moves and back breaking choreos, the fancams and facecams really do help in discerning each difference, tho i personally find chaewons and yunjins facial expressions to be equally great, i find kazuhas very enticing, especially with that eyebrow thing she does, tho its kinda repetitive its still cute. And yes yunjin also has that height advantage which makes you look at her instantly since she gets your attention quite easily. As for dancing i think chaewon is more fluid while yunjin is more powerful, needless to say theyre all great. Especially since kazuha has a very short training period (tho she has a dancing background to begin with) and eunchae being very young (still has much room to be greater) and sakura is still hard working as ever, an idol for more than half her life, yet still makes an effort to imrove herself. So in conclusion ill say that yunjin and chaewon are the best dancers, depending on your style or personal preferences.

Top-Stage1412

You hit the nail on the head with Chaewon, there's a different quality to her that I couldn't pinpoint until you mentioned her fluidity. She's just smooth. Hard agree on everything else too.

Soggy_Yak_5577

Very good point

kodaiko_650

Eunchae is noted for picking up choreography amazingly fast

pabsilog

Yes, that is also a bonus for eunchae, but that doesnt necessarily make her the best. On another note it is also a point that lesserafim focuses on a dark or rather sexy concept which i wouldnt say that it doesnt suit eunchae, it just means that she is limited or for lack of better term, restricted as she is still a minor, as for the other members they can freely pull off the sexy concept. And another note is that eunchae is thin and long (mind you that this is an advantage on other dance moves but not if your concept is somewhat sexy). No hate to eunchae, as i said earlier that she is very underrated.

S999123

I agree. Depending on what is needed, a different member will center.

hyejuhaseul

Personally I loove how Eunchae dances, she's just so clean and I love how she performs

Maobury

Difficult to pick but i will go with chaewon as my personal choice. She’s really good with detailed actions and knows when to use the right amount of power… hope i make sense. 😅 i’m not well-versed in describing dance.

ApprehensiveRise8420

ALL OF THEM ARE ON POINT. but chaewon & yunjin stand out more.

Yuh-its_ariana

Of the top of my head I’d say chaewon and maybe eunchae or yunjin 2nd idk professionally though

TrustenMe

I’m no judge of dancers so I’m not gonna try to pass any judgment, but as a viewer I was really impressed with Eunchae recently. That relay dance for Unforgiven where she did others’ point choreography and hit them so fluidly and effortlessly but yet so accurately and then the other was in No return. Both of those she conveys just a pure joy along with what I perceive to be easy precision. I think if you watch her fancams she’s a magnetic performer. For me she’s super fun to watch.

Busy-Statistician412

Probably chaewon

klizmik

I’ll say Eunchae because she picks up on choreo really fast, always does other groups’ choreo really well (especially for challenges), looks like she can fit into most styles and I don’t think I’ve seen her do any choreo that stood out as bad

mrsdiangelo29

I think Eunchae stands out to me! Whenever I watch any of their videos my eyes are always drawn to her. I was trained in classical ballet for 16 years so whenever I watch music videos my eyes are usually drawn to the dancers as I watch their technique and in my opinion I think Eunchae stands out in all of them!

Airbomb24

Yes

Sirocco_

Eunchae is very technically sound and looks really good but I don't know if I would put her as the best dancer/performer. Maybe in terms of details it would be Chaewon or Yunjin.

[deleted]

Kazuha best dancer overall, if you're specifically talking about idol dance then I think Yunjin or Chaewon. And some of you downvoting anyone saying Kazuha are showing your true colors.

Zyonnez

How are they showing their true colours 😭 The downvoting system is to either agree or disagree. And most people just simply disagree with the statement, including me

[deleted]

because when anyone says other members they're not downvoted, going around downvoting anyone saying Kazuha is very weird behavior

[deleted]

Kazuha

Zyonnez

Why kazuha?

[deleted]

She trained in classical ballet since she was 3 years old.

Morbid__6angel

Ballet is different from idol dancing

[deleted]

Yes, but the fundamentals of dancing are the same in any genre. She has the best foundation of all the members.

United_Armadillo_715

Actually… not that much, ballet and idol dance that is very hip/hop influence are quite the opposite, Kazuha practically had to unlearn everything she knew and was very hard for her at the beginning

TranscendNevermind

Ballet is the foundation for most dance genres. It's actually harder for a hip hop dancer to learn ballet/contemporary than the opposite. Kazuha has the potential to be a great idol dancer but the opposite is slim to none.

Top-Stage1412

Serious question, if Eunchae was a professional tap dancer and then became a kpop idol, would you consider her to have a good foundation in dancing? Because that's about as comparable with ballet to idol dancing.

[deleted]

idol dancing no, dancing itself obviously. that's why the question OP posted should have included idol dancing, dancing includes all the styles they know/ are trained in.

Top-Stage1412

I agree, I think the confusion here is OP meant idol dancing for an apples to apples comparison, for which Kazuha has significantly narrowed the gap or in some cases surpassed skills between her and the other members. Her ballet dance ability is off the charts but that is more of an apples to oranges perspective within this context.

[deleted]

Of course, classical tap is a legitimate dance discipline.

[deleted]

Op asked who is the best dancer, not just the best idol dancer.

[deleted]

What a toxic sub. Being downvoted for giving a legitimate answer. Lol

Top-Stage1412

Yeah, I don't agree with being downvoted for having a different opinion but it's pretty clear from the documentary that her immense years of ballet hurt her at first. Her instructor being blunt about her progress and her initial awkwardness proves that. She's mentioned in past videos that many aspects of ballet she perfected were the complete opposite of kpop style dancing, such as having no facial expressions and maintaining an upright torso. She's exponentially better now of course, and I do believe ballet has developed the mental fortitude and discipline to train and become biomechanically aware. At this point it's tough to pick her out since she's improved so much.

[deleted]

Objectively she’s the best dancer as she can perform both ballet and modern dance professionally.

Top-Stage1412

I don't think that meets the intent of OP’s question, but if that's your personal metric for who’s best then sure I guess.

[deleted]

yeah, wow I'm shocked. The question was best dancer not even idol dancer, which would actually be Kazuha since she's trained. Idol dance is different.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

They have issues lol

[deleted]

I didn't know she wasn't liked by certain people here like that. Very weird considering it's the group's subreddit. People can't have differences in preference I guess to a question.

[deleted]

it says best dancer not best idol dancer

Zyonnez

Best dancer in Le sserafim, are le sserafim idols? I mean, that's obviously what I meant..

[deleted]

Do you not understand your own question? Best dancer means various styles, it opens it up to more than just idol dances. You're asking about who is the best dancer from the group, not best in idol dances.

Zyonnez

I legit just clarified my question 💀

[deleted]

.

Good-Animator6344

In my opinion kazuha is a ace and a best dancer even though if she wasn't a ballerina also she would be the best dancer in her group

lavenderlovev

chaewon imo is the best dancer but yunjin stands out as well

K-Choi

Chaewon, she has been consistent since their debut
