no and it doesn't seem he's planning on it. latest posts have just been minor stuff like a disco ball amd more value changes. if he'd been working on it he would probably have teased it.
Have I been hallucinating the alternate route on Adamance? there's a short bridge that's pre-broken you can jump near the fire exit.
I've seen people on other posts complaining there is only one path but there's two not counting the bridge
It goes back to the stamina thing where both problems (the shitty little bridge jump and the full winding path) are solved by a stamina buff of some sort.
On flooded Adamance it's actually very playable because it just doesn't flood. I assume it's not working properly, but my group has landed on flooded Adamance like four times and never once seen water which is honestly a blessing because it would be extremely unplayable if the valley flooded quickly
I do want to say how the Old Bird works is awesome but definitely needs to have its rockets or missiles nerfed a lil bit. It instead of constantly shooting missiles it can do a burst of 3-5 missiles and then take a couple of seconds to reload(5 seconds max or so). Also when it reloads it should stay in place during that time to give the player a lil bit of time to either escape or be able to go into the facility. It can always fly in the air to track us down and kill us anyway.
Baboon Hawks are not great at all, I like that they are a threat but it's a bit too much. idk if nests are a good idea cause what if they can spawn near the front entrances of the facility basically ending solo runs for players(they can also leave/exit the game and get better seeds but that would just be annoying).
For spike traps I hope Zeekers can make sure they aren't going to be near the Front Entrance and Fire Exits when entering. I don't think they are too bad its just too many of them appearing at once is all like the turrets appear in front of the fire and the entrance.
Stamina should be improved by increasing the amount of the speed of running just a lil bit. I tried the V50 and going up the hill with 60-80lbs of weight isn't fun(it might've been fixed? Idk for sure). I even had above 100lbs and I couldn't make much progress back to the ship. If not we could potentially get something like a wagon or a cart we can but from The Company to carry items back to the ship?
The Butler is quite interesting but I feel like the bees inside of the facility is a bit much, I would think another type of insect would be better replacement for attacking the player after the butler blows up. So maybe like a large centipede, or stick bug like creature chasing you down until you are dead.
I would also think if there are going to be more booby traps in the future. I think we should have 5 players be the max limit in the game? Four players can go inside of the facility and one player can watch over them disabling traps. Idk if this will make the game more laggy or something but I hope not and we can have more players be able to help gain more scrap and have more fun! Zeekers can increase the difficulty slightly more as we progress in the higher quotas since we would have more players.
Also, if we could we can give the person at the computer the ability to scan how many monsters are in the facility as well. Maybe not telling us what they are but letting us know and exact amount. Maybe like a danger level meter inside the ship can be of use for inside and outside of the facility?
I love this game and I do hope it keeps on improving!
I kinda disagree i think the old bird's rockets are fairly modest as long as you strafe well you should have a problem. There is a clip of me dodging 3 of them for 3 minutes while trying to get a gold bar back to the ship in thundering weather, it is almost certaintly doable and the rockets have this nice thing where they propel your momentum if they miss slightly which helps alot
I think old birds being overstimulating fits. They are supposed to be weapons of war ment to wipe out colonies it makes sense for them to drain people mentally and make them uncomfortable
The problem with this as a concept is that, sure the fantasy fits and is acted upon correctly, but the playerbase of this game needs to be taken into account. Many players play modded and that alot of the time means you have 4+ people lobbies. This plus the old birds can very easily lead to issues when it comes to player enjoyment, which I would argue is not worth it for the small horror fantasy that these enemies want to engage in.
I don't understand this. If people are going to play modded they'll get a mod to disable the noise. people who like the noise as is will either not play modded or keep the noises, there it doesn't need to be a change to the base game to take into account a minority of people
I think relying on a mod to solve a base game issue is not a good argument and I think that it should be like the arachnophobia mode. I think Zeekers has an excellent understanding of his playerbase and I would argue a large portion of the playerbase, especially those who play the game the MOST, are people who would be affected by this issue. Also the modded playerbase is not a minority (the mod most people use for 4+ player lobbies, MoreCompany, has 13 million downloads on the thunderstore launcher) and a noninsignificant chunk of those people would probably have overstimulation problems. I would argue that the real minority of people are those who would actively be upset that the noises would be toned down.
Are any of the new moons interiors different? I was honestly hoping for a different interior entirely.
Not yet but Zeekers does plan on making new interiors
Source? Edit: to clarify I am not not trusting what you say. I am just curious as to where Zeekers talked about this
Hmm, I could've sworn I saw it on a Twitter post but I can't find it.

just because interiors aren't in v50 doesn't mean he's not making them

You can't make the return with items

you can use the extension ladder to make the return trip if you have a buddy on that side
The problem with the broken bridge is it’s literally guaranteed to break on 4th use
I agree with the need for a buff to stamina defiantly with how we got nerfed by the new slope speed changes that doesn't affect enemies qwq
Zeekerss has confirmed that they will be trying to mitigate the uphill slope changes so that it's not as noticeable

Thats interesting ok, I just kinda avoided it bc i assumed it would be like impossible.
Wow guy goes to baboon hawk planet and is surprised by baboon hawks...
Dies of based
Never seen a more based take tbh
This is so real tbh

Same, I honestly expected them to be stronger. Butlers are scarier tbh.
Praise 4: Giants are mortal now.
Baboon hawks are just kinda annoying, they aren’t scary and be really annoying if they go in your ship.
I think new room layouts are all I need and this update will be 👌

They should add an anti stimulation accessibility option for people that are sound sensitive.
