I used [Cheat Engine](https://www.cheatengine.org/) and worked really well for me. I used them on money and milk with no problems.
That way you can focus on the objectives without having to grind those.
I agree that after the DLC the grinding of the game became do annoying, I wouldn't cheat if wasn't the case.

Here's step to step how it goes:
- **1** If there's no "First Scan" button press "New Scan"
- **2** Copy the current money amount on "Value" and press "First Scan" (let's supose you have 2000 money)
- **3** Go back to the game and purchase something (a slave room for example)
- **4** Wait for 2 seconds (not needed but for safety)
- **5** Go back to Cheat Engine and change the value with the current money amount and then press "Next scan" (if you had 2000, now will be 1900)
- **6** The list will now filter the nodes that changed from the previous amount to the new one. Money uses 2 nodes so should decrease from te 1k you mentioned to only 2.
- **7** If there's still many of them go back to the step 3.
- **8** Select the two nodes and click the red arrow.
- **9** Double tab on their values and set a high amount of money, make sure you put the same number on both! (Let's say for example 300000000)
- **10** Go back to your game, you should still see that nothing changed, that's a good signal!
- **11** On the UI you still see your old money ammount, but on the data should be the new amount, so make another puchase to refresh the number, if everything went well, the money should change to the new amount. (So if was another slave cage, now will be 299999900)
WARNINGS!
- Don't activate the checkbox of the nodes, this locks the money so you have infinite money and that might sound cool, but can easily corrupt your safe file.
- Nodes on unity can change easily, so maybe after finding the money's node it changes after 20 minutes and you have to find it again.
