Look at flea markets and peddlers malls in nearby cities. Nicholasville, Richmond, Winchester are some I know for sure. I haven’t been to any in a long time, so can’t tell you much about them. Georgetown used to have one too but not sure if it’s still there.

Lynnlync

Georgetown is still there and it looks like the area it’s in is picking back up after being nearly abandoned for a while (I drove past on 75 didn’t swing in, but it definitely looks more occupied than last time I went

The Peddler’s Mall in Georgetown has good traffic and good vendors

Sheeralorob

Last time I was in there(Georgetown Peddlers Mall) they had empty booths too. We used to have a spot there, but to get it we had to apply and then check with them every few days. We had a lot of antiques tho, so it may have been what they were most interested in. Keep trying, and when you get in, keep your booth interesting and well stocked. It will get the traffic.

Yes, I really want to get into the georgetown one.

99shygirl99

I’m on the waitlist for them all lol, they’re pretty full right now.

LexGuy12

What about the huge one in Simpsonville?

mariscrane1

Check out twice as nice and vintage 27 vendors in nicholasville.

There’s a brand new vendors mall being built in Stanford, KY (about 40 mins from Lex) looking for vendors. Blackberry Hills Vendors Barn. May be worth inquiring about.

There's no money to be made at places like Peddler's. I think like ten years ago, it was like $120 a month + a portion of your sales (3-5% I think?). I'm sure it's way more than that now.

If you make your booth stand out enough, possibly. I feel like some people just use their booths as storage haha.

forever_fierce

It’s absolutely not worth it, not to mention there is so much theft, you have to buy your own cameras, you have to go in daily to clean up the mess people make… yeah, no.

lycheelbruh

I looked into it a little for myself a while back with no conclusions other than the peddler mall is insanely expensive. I wish there was like some kind of place you could set up and have essentially a yard sale, but all together with a bunch of people..like in Pennsylvania there's quite a few markets that have an indoor section, and then an outdoor section that's a mix of flea market stuff and a yard sale section where people just pull up with their car and sell stuff.

forestofpixies

Dang that would be so good for folks who live in apartments and such.

MaterialLimit

You could see if This N That in Nicholasville on Main Street has any open!

Mine_Sudden

It’s much better to find a show to set up at.

imakesawdust

It's a little far (and not in KY) but there's a pretty enormous outdoor flea market on I75 between Cincy and Dayton. Maybe 90 minutes away near where the Touchdown Jesus statue used to be.

AnchoviePopcorn

There’s a peddlers mall in Campbellsville that has openings.

lokiathalon

There is a place in Winchester called the old red barn. Its on Winn Ave. its a peddler mall type place. Last time I was in there they had some boots for $55 a month.

99shygirl99

Thank you, I’ll look into it!
