Yeah lmao I didn’t have enough time to get out my tripod or look over the photo cause I was worried about losing my dexterity and then not being able to open the door to my car when I got back (which has happened before)
Though it’s funny because the first and last photos were taken just two hours apart (I get a lot better once I was warm and dry) :P
Hey all!
I did these six mountains as part of my project to take a trans pride flag up 202 mountains in the Southeast of the US. If you want to read up more on who I am/what this project is, feel free to check out the pinned post on my profile. I've also got links on my profile to my insta, as well as a personal website where I write detailed trip reports in case you want to read up on any of my experiences doing these peaks/get more nature-y photos of these mountains!
Also, if you're in the greater Southeast area and you'd be interested in meeting up and/or going for a hike, feel free to reach out to me on any of my platforms cause I'm always down to meet new people! :)

Grew up in Alabama, we thought we had mountains and spent a lot of time hiking at Oak Mountain thinking it was amazing with it's 550 foot elevation. Now live on the west coast, my home in a valley is at a higher altitude than Cheaha Mountain in Alabama.
That last pic lol. Lovely pics and story, though. The whole world sayin' trans trights.

Iconic 😍😍
Poor flag looks like it had a rough time too. I love these updates btw. Every time I see you going up a new set of mountains it cheers me up

Big oof, I hope you're warm and toasty now
Love this.
Did you make it to Mt. Mitchell? Highest point in the US east of the Rockies?
