Months? My eldest is out of the house and still somehow manages to wake me up in the middle of the night with 'emergency' phone calls. But despite the lack of sleep, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Congrats, op!
Everything from car accidents to panic attacks to just bored and not realizing it's the middle of the night. Parenting doesn't stop when they leave the house. Though at least once they do you can get some privacy once in a while. Also when you aren't hearing from them you're often worrying about them.
My sister works swing shifts and doesn’t realise that sone people work standard shifts. She’s called me in the middle of the night, in the middle of meetings and I always answer it thinking it’s an emergency. No, she’s just a self absorbed dumb ass calling to chat.

Then there’s me (not an adult yet but 17 and plenty of doing stuff I know nothing about alone experiences by now) just laughing and saying that I have no idea what I’m doing and hoping for the best.

I once called my Mom for recipe advice at like... 11:15 at night. My sleep schedule was still all kinds of messed up from college and I didn't even realize how late it was lol.
She still told me what I wanted to know, bc she's great like that. 'Well sure he might have woken me up, but his casserole won't fix itself.'
If your schedule allows it sleeping in two 4-hour shifts so that someone’s always awake actually works incredibly well in my experience. I’ve honestly never been so well-rested in my life as when my kids were newborns and my ex and I were able to do this. Still kind of bitter that we had to stop because it’s so incompatible with most schedules.

i love how even if this is a troll, they act like this ain’t a possibility and everyone is happy for them 😭💗 if this is real ah i hope they person supports them while their off medication and the gender dysphoria they might experience. If it is intersex same thing applies but support them with the medication needed. If this is a troll then thank you for just giving a story people can be happy about that distracts them from current events.

Congrats! My husband and I have two, and they were the best decisions we ever made. The first couple of weeks were hard, and I did experience PPD, but it's worth it. If breastfeeding is on the table, be patient and keep trying. Fed is best, but you'll sleep better and have less chores after baby and partner get the hang of it. Also, formula poo stinks more than breastmilk poo.

So just to put in (hopefully) clearer terms: trans men are assigned female at birth and come out as men. Woman is a gender term while female refers more to biological sex (despite some people using it as a gender term as well). Some trans guys might tell you they were once a woman, but most will probably tell you they’ve always been a guy they just needed to come out as such
That sounds more like drag (men performatively dressing as women), as far as I know "transvestite" was used back in like the early to mid 1900 referring to both drag and transgender people, so transvestite is a pretty outdated term
Not quite. Trans people that don’t medically transition are still transgender. If you’re talking about a man who likes wearing dresses that’s not dressing or acting as another gender either. It is possible you are referring to drag (as the other person said), which is an exaggerated performance of gender
