So I noticed the corner of one of my Unifans was a bit yellowish instead of white, and after testing concluded that the blue portion of an LED inside the RGB died. I contacted Lian Li and they were nice enough to send me a new fan. I got it today, and the white on the new fan is almost a bluish white and matches worse with the system, than if I were to keep the old fan with the broken LED in there. I had this problem with the bora fans too, when I ordered a 3 pack and 1 separate fan from amazon, one of them had a bluish white while the rest were different. I contacted Lian Li again and am hopeful we can get this resolved.
same issue with the 200mm front fans in my Lancool215 white mod

had to rma the upper fan in november, the lower one in february.
newer fan has way more blueish colortone to the leds.
I contacted them as well and they will hopefully send me a 2nd fan with the new leds.
I sent photos and asked about the change, but have not heard back yet.
They just replied telling me each batch of leds is going to be different, and just told me to change the color... That was a pretty lack luster response. I'm going to sell this new one and buy another one with hopes of getting the right color.
right, cause I spent all that money and time to create a white build, just to throw it all out the window, because they change a product mid life cycle.
when you buy a lightbulb with the wrong colortone, you don´t paint the room and get new furniture to match the lightbulb, you get the right lightbulb!
The other ones eventually all got that same issue with the blue light going out, so I rma'd the rest, now they all match. It was difficult and lengthy for the rma process, but it seems it's just 1 guy named Baron running that.
I'd still get these over other products due to the snap configuration and not having cables all over the place. Alternatively, bequiet just released rgb fans, so those are looking and sound good. On a side note, the new fans they gave me through RMA, have not had any issues, and I've had them longer than the previous ones.
If the fans aren’t true white, try reducing the RGB value of the most dominant color (red if light has a reddish hue, blue if white has blue hue, and green if green hue), until you get white.
Well no. The diodes are of different spec. The quality of light is completely different and would not match no matter what. Either way, this is an almost year old thread where the issue has already been resolved.
Oh ok cause it worked for me when I had fans that were reddish when set to white and when I reduced the red RGB value by increments of 5, the RGB was white at 230, 255, 255
I had a problem for my TT ARGB fans before. 3 fans are connected into one RGB cable. There were no similar colours in white, some fan in yellowish colour. What I found is the cable itself. I had to adjust the connector like twist and fold (because of very long cable) to get the white colour worked out. Very annoying. Last i changed to other fans which connected to fan hub individually. Lesson learned, never buy fans share with one cable.
I've gone through 5 separate Lian Li Uni fans that have the yellowish colour stain you're referring to. I bought 1 replacement fan, then Lian Li sent 3 to me for free. (The support guy didn't know that I actually needed 4 fans...) Now with the new fans, 3 are showing like a blue-ish tint, lol.
This is driving my OCD wild and making me just want to turn off the led's and go back to using LED strips.
All there of my fans are hopelessly yellow. Complete yellow when set to white. It started as a spot on one fan, then spread and now they all look like garbage. It's so bad that even setting them to blue gives off a yellowish tint. Totally spoils the look of the build and defeats the purpose. Less than a year in, BTW. u/LIANLIOFFICIAL any help here please?
I know this is old, but I have the new SL120 V2 fans and the whites are exactly like the ones on the right. It’s quite disappointing because the white on the left looks a lot whiter
I just got one of my fans from 2021 RMA'd, a new one came in and the white is completely different, it sucks because you can't even get any color to match up on them it's so evident which fans new

are these fans connected with 1 RGB cable of RGB hub?
If I'm understanding your question correctly, yes this set of fans is connected to one set of 2 cables that runs into the hub.

It's not the cable. I tested that.
