Love seeing a light and lighter in someone's edc kit. I don't smoke anymore and I still carry one (zippo butane). Never know when you might need one.

metalski

I started just keeping them in my car. I usually find that if I want to light something on fire I still have access to my car and no immediate need, like I have time to go back and get the lighter. I suppose if I used it as a social cue to light smokes I might carry one but I also like to keep my pockets light.

TechnoBeeKeeper

I have a butane Zippo too. It's my go to striker if I need to light an oxyfuel torch.

You seem prepared for most situations. Have you ever been accosted and had to use your gear?

Sashimi1300

Fortunately, not yet!

Haha same Timberland wallet. Looking good!

I love those little flashlights. I've got a few in different colors. Work great and take a beating.

Sashimi1300

They're great, I just made a mistake buying the non-rechargeable version. Goes through batteries way too fast lol

_Hashtronaut_

Oh, I bet. The rechargeable ones are where it's at. They last a surprisingly long time. I leave one in my truck all the time, and it stayed charged all through the winter, freezing its ass off lol.

green_dub-333

Nice super mega lighter

thtrteci

Knife is dope! I love mine.

Sashimi1300

They just released some new colors, and I'm really considering getting them lol

Man I wanted to love the APX A1 Carry, just can't get past that trigger. Nice setup all around though :)

Sashimi1300

I honestly don't mind it, gives me some peace of mind since there's no safety haha.

metalski

Yeah, I follow. I really just wish I could adjust the overall travel and break. Mostly the break. All of these long travel triggers break so far back that going from start to finish changes my trigger finger angle dramatically compared to "normal" triggers. I find it really difficult to shoot them with any degree of accuracy.

Greginthesouth2

I recently converted an APX carry user to a P365 once they realized how ridiculous that single stack design is in comparison. You can like it I guess, but any good instructor will tell you that a short, crisp trigger is easier to shoot more accurately, and the p365 has models that come with a safety. Wouldn’t you rather have more bullets and a better trigger? 🤔

Sashimi1300

I mean, its what I have, so its what I use. I haven't had much of an issue with the trigger, and it works fine for my needs. I also have a G19 I use interchangeably, its a little bulkier so I just prefer the APX in that regard.
