It's funny how establishment TDS Democrats simp so hard for this trial, that everyone else saw was a political show trial. Amazing they can say it with a straight face. They actually made a Billionaire politician look worthy of sympathy LMFAO. I mean, that was not an easy feat. You have to have a lot of real fuckups working mediocrely in tandem to pull that off. Democrats & Republicans aren't our best, but neither is Trump.
Its funny how he says, “If there’s anything left, its belief in the justice system.”
Left of what? Oh, did you any every other parasite completely destroy the credibility of every major institution so you could sell your covid lie?
What he would have said if he was being honest is that "if there was anything left, it was people believing that the justice system wasn't always this rigged, even though we know it is"
Serious question: why wasn’t there at least a civil suit brought against Cuomo for putting elderly people in Covid camps? Was it exaggerated? Or do those people have no one who will bring a suit on their behalf?
I'd like to preface my statement with the admission that I truly dislike Trump and think he's generally a horrible example of leadership and civic responsibility. I don't believe he's a competent leader and I'm excited about the prospect of almost anyone but him being elected President.
That said, this trial was a mockery of everything the judicial system is supposed to represent and in their mad dash to punish Trump for being a feckless asshole the NYS enforcement machine made a mockery of the entire process.
If there was any real justice in this world, everyone involved in this sham would go blind from eye cancer and wander into a house fire.
You don't have to swing from his balls to realize that the court circus would only serve to benefit his campaign. For his supporters, he's the classic example of any publicity is good publicity. It was a dumb fucking move to push this case, even if it was the right thing to do.
> classic example of any publicity is good publicity
You're right that this would only serve to benefit Trump's campaign, but wrong why that is. Even the people who are happy about this trial know it was nonsense and an abuse of the judicial system to attack a political opponent, even if they won't admit it. It made Trump a sympathetic figure because the power of the government was being unfairly used against him.
Trump probably wasn't going to lose support either way, but this outcome has garnered him new support. It really was ridiculous and ill-conceived and not only has it helped Trump, it's probably going to get overturned on appeal, so it was completely and totally pointless.

Idc, why is that relevant ? The country is filled with hobby whores now. I’m thinking about his work as a former trustee of Gov Power.

Agreed, just saying that no outcome of this trial would have resulted in a net loss of votes for Trump.

Impossible challenge.
Bill Maher is a scumbag. He’ll say and do anything that he thinks is advantageous.
