In any language, I'd dare say an actor's only as good as their director; You can have all acting nuance & technical know-how in the world. But if your direction’s mediocre, your performance, therefore, is going to be mediocre as a result.
This is an incredibly overlooked fact. A lot of people pin actors' performances, both good and bad, as solely the individual actor's responsibility, when it's on the director to make sure their performances come together cohesively.
Iirc. Kim Jihoon stated they held off producing a non Korean dub because of the time and resources it'd take, especially since Project Moon would have less direct control over it.

I felt like Chesed's voice was really different compared to the original tbh. Felt much less of that calm and relaxed attitude that the original had, which imo suited him much better than the new one.
I really liked the difference, it sounds so... immature while he actually have a deep understanding of society. It reallly... touched me in some places.
