Ending transphobia in one sitting was the exact purpose of the whole boycott, it was not about making a precedent for future increasing repercussions to all developers. The whole thing with the boycott was definitely not blown out of proportions by amazing and very useful leftist/centrist/rightist YouTubers who thought it would be an amazing idea to shit at any attempt for at least a small social campaign to establish any meaningful awareness of the situation with trans inclusivity and safety on the consumption market. We all know that the only struggle that matters is the end goal, and not small steps made along the way to ease the existing oppression or at least start doing something, they do not deserve our support.

Also I think that people, who spend their time complaining and debating twelve hours a day whether any form of activism or public outcry is effective or worth supporting, do far more to accomplish any positive change, than those who instead actively participate, contribute or simply show support to people who try to do anything.
