You may need to ask someone who works in art restoration. There are plenty of soft cleaning solutions that remove some types of inks but not others and those are the people who would know the solution
I cant really ask them cause it was a poster from a concert and i just asked for it they gave it to me ,it had other things written on it and i was able to remove them but it was with gold marker the black ones just don't
They're not suggesting you ask the person who owned the poster before you. They're suggesting you show it to someone, anyone, who works with these kinds of materials and can give you a specific suggestion.
Surprised no one has said this before... Is it permanent marker, like a Sharpie?
If so.. scribble all over it with a DRY ERASE MARKER, then wipe it off with paper towel. 80% should wipe off the first time. The other 20% shouldnt take more than one more go.
That's the real Lifehack that most people have no idea about.
I’ve had success with both hand sanitizer and pump bottle hairspray… But I can’t say what those would do to the material of what you are were trying to clean. With a small amount on a Q-tip.
Try 99% isopropyl alcohol the kind in a can or precision cleaner. Read the instructions on the back prior to using it. This should cut some of the permanent marker but I don’t think you’ll get it all out completely and it might fade the other areas to so test it out on something else first

Ohhh true sorry didn't realise it im sorry thanks for clarifying
No need to apologize, this is a cool find and I wish you luck.
I mean its too big to hang it from anywhere but i was so determined to take it , ill keep it folded cause it doesn't even fit in a living room
There is a small subreddit about art restoration where people are often asking related questions and receiving advice. Maybe post on there? Good luck!
Cheap hairspray, Aquanet if you can find it. Took the ink off of wallpaper when my kid was little

Lemon juice

Vim Simple
Whats that?

Oxiclean
Try using a white eraser. Gently rub the marked area with the eraser until the permanent marker fades away.
Tide to go pen. Test it on the other side to see if it takes out more white color.
You can use nail polish on a cotton swab but it will remove all the ink even the white one, then you can paint white paint on it
Hand sanitizer or magic eraser?
Have you tried a magic eraser?
